if you don't have nothing better to do, anyway, stay doing nothing.... it doesn't worth the trip, especially if you have to pay a tour

“dont bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

How this place rates highly with people is beyond me.

this place is a long way for not alot. the touched up images give the place a far more appealing look than you will see upon arrival.

The rocks are mossy, the pool bottom is slippery, it is overcrowded with many kids and we all know what kids do in the pool.

The only decent thing was the walk to the pool through a little rainforest area. No animals like suggested.

go to the Tiger Temple, much better and free.

“Beware - Expensive, time-consuming and underawed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

By car it is 1 hour drive from Ao Nang with not much scenery along the way save for rubber plantations

From entrance, 800m light trek is needed to get to the pool.

Beware that the cost of this trip is enormous with 10x charge for foreigners (THB200 entrance fee for foreigners and THB20 for locals)

Upon reaching the pool, it is beautiful, but small, dirty and overcrowded. Overall, a short swim in the pool is not worth the time and money involved.

I recommend international visitors to punish double pricing standards and do not support this attraction as it charges 10 times more to foreigners.

This is an amazing Pool, the water is perfectly tepid- it looks brilliantly emerald blue and is pretty clean and well kept!
