The hotel perched atop a hill and within 10 minutes walk to the Ao Nang shopping area. You may walk down the hill and take a "tut-tut" back to your hotel on return. It just cost 20 bath per person. Huge building and luxurious room size. I stayed 4th floor on the first night and move to 5th floor on the 2nd night. Love the balcony very much with a swing chair but the view NOT that spectacular as described in the brochure. They having major construction right in front of the balcony view. Avoid staying in Room 402. My friends heard & saw unusual thing in this room. The multi-level rectangle-shaped like swimming pool just nice compared with other hotel pools. Try-out the SPA located on the 1st floor.. a bit costly but very comfortable and grand in style. The breakfast venue located on 6th floor (top). Have a good view of the roof top while having a sumptuos
breakfast. Highly recommend for honeymooner or leisure seekers. Happy
holidays.

Stayed here after a few days in bangkok, very quiet and rooms great.
Found the food pricey and better to eat out on the beach, for quality and cost.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Pavillion Queens Bay in Krabi. When we arrived the hotel looked ok, however it was further from the beach than stated on the hotel website. When we checked in we had a lovely welcome drink and were then shown to our room.
The room was on the 5th floor so we thought that there would be a nice sea view, as we were told, but that was not all. Not only could we see the sea but also a very large construction site below, lots of noise as you can imagine and you can imagine the rest!
The room had lots of black marks all over the wall paper, it looked dirty. We asked to be moved room and they showed us another. The next room was slightly better, still with holes in the bed linen, dull lighting and stagnant water around the plants on the balcony.
We told the manager how dissapointed we were because the room and the hotel did not look half as good as it did on the hotel website. She offered a meal in the hotel, which we turned down, and then ahe offered us both a 90min massage.
All in all the hotel is below average, its like a 3 * trying to be 4/5 but not succeeding.

“Good reservation service with good hotel”

I was here for 4 nights between 3-8 April 2007. Thank you for silkzpider.com's staff that helped me get the Superior room with free breakfast because this room type was not shown on their web's price list. However, they tried to manage to get it for me.

The hotel exterior is nice and clean. The check-in and check-out processes are fast and friendly. The room is nice and clean. It includes a big bathroom with bath tub and seperate shower and toiler. The bathroom size is amazing. Its size is about half of the room including closet inside. Water pressure is good through out my stay. Bathroom amenities are include all standard items (such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc.) except hair dryer. The big mirror in front of the bathroom is perfect to check out myself while dressing up. The room amenities include all standard facilities and 2 bottles of water for each room. The turn down service comes with lovely flower and at the perfect time. The free breakfast had a veriety of food to choose from. The swimming pool has 3 levels designed for each guest's age. I swim at the first level, my teenage boys love the second level, and my kids enjoy the third level. The drink from the hotel bar is over price, so we desired not to have any lunch or dinner at the hotel. We took taxi (20bath/person/way) for about 1-2 minutes to Ao Nang Beach to get food which are more reasonable price. We enjoy the Krabi's environment. It considers a clean town, freindly people, modern facilities with lot of land and water activities to enjoy.

The only comment is the taxi price from the hotel to Ao Nang Beach which is a little high comparing to the actual distance ride.
I will totally recommend this hotel to anyone. If you can't find the hotel or room type that you are looking for ask silkzpider.com's staff, they certainly can manage it for you.

After spending a few days in a fantastic hotel in Bangkok we had high expectations of our hotel in Krabi and we were not disappointed. The room was a great size with a brilliant balcony and a very large and clean bathroom. The pool area was lovely which was just as well because Ao Nang beach isnt all that. Breakfast was very impressive with a huge selection and staff were polite and friendly. Food and drink prices at the hotel were, like all other hotels, overpriced, but whats the point in going abroad if you stay in your hotel all the time anyway? With regards to Ao Nang itself, not the gorgeous beach setting we expected but lots of nice restaurants and a great base for trips to islands and diving. I would certainly return to this hotel.
