I just got back from a 2.5 week tour of Thailand, with the last 3 days spent in Krabi. I booked this hotel for my best friend and I through my starwood points, so I didn't really think about what it would look like. But when we got there we so pleasantly surprised at the beautiful setting for this resort. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was super friendly, the buffet breakfast was delicious and the beach was great.

I read another review on this site that mentioned a guy named “Som” who books tours and trips from his office right across the street from this hotel. He’s great. We actually had about 6 hours to kill after we had to check out and before our flight to Bangkok took off so we retained his car service the last day of our trip to take us to Ao Nang beach for a couple of hours and then take us to the airport for about $27.

If you take a right out of the hotel and walk about 5 mins you’ll see a little strip mall set on the bottom of a slope. On the left hand side is a drink bar, but unfortunately I can’t remember the name (maybe, EXPRESSIONS?). The owner is a lovely English expat who was very helpful in answering questions for us about what to do in/around Krabi. She makes an AWESOME coconut ice cream smoothie!!! Ask her to make it extra thick. My mouth waters just thinking of it.

She also recommended we take the speed boat tour to the Phi Phi Islands which was fantastic! Definitely take the time to do this, you won’t regret it.

I've stayed here about 4 days and enjoy to go to some island around Krabi. I think this location is not good but sometimes forget the traffic jam and loud noisy. I read some booking nearby pool and beach. Beach was terrible because cannot swim. I feel sad and never swim this beach in the from of hotel.

I've stayed 4 nights at this hotel late October and I can say I really liked it. I appreciated the beach, the mascot of the hotel an elephant, the swimming pool and the good breakfast buffet in the morning. Relaxing place for couple or with friends. I recommend this hotel and if I ever go back to Krabi, I'll stay there again.

I don't know where to begin, this is the best resort i ever been to. Its quiet, romantic, breath taking, relaxing, its heaven paradise on earth. I got nothing but to say but Thank to to Sheraton Krabi staff and management for giving me and my partner the best stays. The place is really heavenly, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is so spacious and beautiful, and the hotel thinks of every single small detail that you will need in a hotel room, you seriously don't need to bring anything but yourself and clothes..The food for breakfast is great, and everything is great..i enjoyed my self, and my relationship with my partner too, be became much closer ever since going there.This place is worth going and worth staying.Worth every cent!!! DO GO THERE!!! I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! very pampering ..very good service!!
