Hotel is very nicely situated. The road leading to the hotel is not very good.
Green garden, no traffic, only the song of birds. Very nice and quiet. An ideal spot to relax.
Lovely spacious room, number 116, with very comfortable bed (200x200), aircon and relatively clean bathroom with shower. Flatscreen tv with English speaking channels.
One fault is the (thin?) connecting door in this room. You hear your unknown neigbours loud and clear! Really disturbing. So make sure you ask for a room without a connecting door.
The pool is nice, but we counted 6 loungers around the pool and that is not enough. No parasols either.
We saw a few good bikes next to reception. Free or paid, I do not know, but it should be fun to cycle around.
Breakfast is nice, egg station etc. The bread and fruit should be covered, we did not take the lovely fresh fruit, tiny small flies on the fruit! This needs to be improved.
Free wifi, as it should be today! Wifi in the room, in the restaurant and it's terrace. Much appreciated. Bangkok Post, English copy, in restaurant and reception, we read it enjoying a cup of coffee on the terrace (they make real espresso, made by a good espresso machine).
We did not do the massage, lack of time. But it has hotel prices (1000 baht for 1hour). In Khon Kaen shopping mall Central Plaza you find massage and at the Khonkaen Ram hospital a reflex footmassage costs 350 Baht for 1 hour (traditional Thai massage 1 1/2 hours costs 450 Baht).
We found personnel in the hotel friendly and we must give them a compliment because many spoke good English.
We can recommend this hotel.
