“Great Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stayed here for 6 nights. Bed very comfortable, but bathroom in need of attention. Tiles cracked, although clean it looked a bit grubby, more of a wet room.

We were on the third floor, very quiet apart from the bell in the temple ringing at sunrise (5am) and sunset.

Lovely touch from room service was the towels folded in different shapes every day, elephants, swans, etc. Clean towels every day, room cleaned every day.

The hotel is bang in the middle of Hua Hin so no need for Tuk Tuks.

Quick and efficient check in. Friendly reception staff.

Breakfast a bit of a let down compared to other hotels in Asia. Not worth the 200 baht charged. Better in Lucky's, out of hotel and turn left. We were surprised to find the hotel does not have a restaurant you can charge meals to. The grill room is open for breakfast but does not seem to be part of the hotel for evening meals. Lots of restaurants and bars close by.

Mini bar well stocked and surprisingly cheap. Complimentary water supplied daily.

The pool is on the 5th floor. Small but quite nice, although it could do with being cleaned regularly, quite sandy on the bottom. Pool towels are supplied.

Lifts are quite slow, only one lift for both staff and guests.

Overall a pleasant stay, good value for money.

Good hotel and location. Everything works, central but quiet and relaxing soi, restaurants & motorbike rental opposite the hotel, smiling service. I had a junior suite which is large and comfortable, not luxury but homey.I experienced nothing to complain about.

The Thipurai is excellent value, right in the middle of Hua Hin and about 3minutes walk to the beach.
Friendly staff and clean rooms with nothing too much trouble.
Is located in a small Soi (street) so no issue with traffic noise.

Room Tip: Have stayed on different floors and found all to be similar..

Very centrally located.. Close to beach, restaurants, bars etc. small but nice pool. Comfortable rooms. Good shower pressure. Would stay again. No need for taxis here. Generally a nice city and beach. Nice reasonably priced restaurants and bars.

Friendly staff, except one person at the reception. Clean rooms, little old. Water of the pool not so clean and warm. Breakfast was ok, free wifi ok maybe sometimes slow. Hotel's location is super. Five minutes from the beach, three minutes from restaurants and bars. Probably go back in October and longer than this time.

Room Tip: Like always, don't expect the rooms like on the photo's on internet :-)

We stayed here for one night - reception gave us the impression of a clean and well looked after hotel, while lacking character, and the room was in keeping with that. We slept well, despite being on a busy street it was quiet enough at night and like a ghost town in the morning!

Staff were polite and helpful, shower was warm, bed was comfortable, adequate electrical points & wifi and a decent breakfast included. Tiny balcony overlooking busy street - probably not worth bothering with! My only complaint is that the aircon rattled sometimes. Overall, a decent choice although a touch on the expensive side but probably in keeping with Hua Hin prices.

Stayed here in October, it's a very nice basic hotel in a good location. Just a couple minutes from the beach, and very close to the bars without being noisy at night. Staff were very friendly. The entire roof is open with sunbeds on, and a small pool on the floor below. Would definitely come back here again.
