This truly was an amazing experience. We stayed for 13 nights and keep wishing we were back there. The setting and style of the hotel is colonial and so relaxing and tranquil. The staff are there, are without doubt the friendliest and efficient that I have experienced in my rather extensive travels. Right from the moment we arrived to moment we departed the service we received was faultless. Our room was eleganty furnished and spotlessly clean thanks to the ever smiling chambermaid. Thailand is known as the " Land of Smiles" the staff at the Sofitel Hua Hin are perfect ambassadors for that. Looking forward to our return visit next year when we will stay for a month.

This Hotel is the most amazing place I have ever stayed at, from the time we arrived to the time we left.
We came to this Hotel for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and booked one of the Premium Pool Villas (well worth the money). The villas are just devine, from the multi-media room to the marble bathroom to the bedroom and the outdoor private pool, just amazing. After checking in, a man arrived with a chocolate gateaux cake with "Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary" a bowl of fruit and some juice. Our bed was sprinkled with flower petals and an arrangement done in the shape of a heart and even the towels on the bed were made into the shape of a heart.
The people are so friendly, the buffet breakfasts out of this world and the overall experience just amazing. We wish we had stayed here longer instead of spending the rest of the time in Bangkok, but the 3 nights we were there was just amazing.
The Hotel is central to everything, and we even managed to be there when the Jazz Festival was on, which created a unique atmosphere.
While the Hotel rooms looked okay, I would certainly upgrade to the villas, you just feel like royalty and one of the rich and famous.
I trully miss this place and will definately be back next year but may have to bring the rest of the family next time.
What more can I say "THIS WAS A TRIP OF A LIFETIME"

Lovely hotel and gardens (as manicured as it gets). An array of pools which my children really enjoyed. Rooms are very comfortable. Most of the support staff were polite and smiley.

However, front desk staff were not helpful nor accommodating. We had an extra adult and had to pay the differential which we agreed to. Did not understand why they needed such a large amount as collateral (THB16,000) when rooms (2)had already been paid for. Asked for an explanation but was told that it was in case we stayed an extra night and decided to scoot off. I guess, response was rather disappointing.

Also, local calls were quite expensive as we called to book our taxi to Bangkok.

Arrived in Hua Hin after an enjoyable but frenetic city break in Shanghai. Feeling really tired after an early morning flight then limo transfer to Hua Hin, we were immediately perked up by the friendly and efficient check in and welcome by reception staff. On seeing the grounds and our room we immediately thought this is for us. For the next ten days we enjoyed a top class experience in a stylish hotel with beautiful gardens and pool areas right on the beach.
The quality of the restaurants and the attentitiveness of all levels of staff were second to none. It was a real wrench to leave for our trip home. Would certainly recommend the Sofitel to anyone and look forward to returning ourselves.
