I booked 3 standard "executive" rooms here on the Hilton website, as it was the same price as via agoda, or expedia. I was upgraded to 3 "King Gulf Suite" rooms for a small fee at check in. The rooms were quite large, Clean, huge bathroom, large glass enclosed shower, seperate two person tub, top notch toiletries, huge fluffy towels. The AC worked perfectly. Each room had TWO seperate balconies with the most Beautiful Views of Hua Hin and the Coastline. I've stayed in plenty of nice hotels, none any better than this one. The lobby is large and open, with a view of the huge pool and Ocean, with plenty of comfortable seating for many groups of 8-10 peVery Modern and up to date. Pool is long abstract design, with a swim up bar serving many types of fresh fruit frozen drinks, and of course ordinary ones as well. One can order off a limited menu here too, burgers, sandwiches and such. A plethora of Comfortable lounge chairs surround the pool, and it's just a few steps from here down to the beach. There's always a guy or two standing by with a horse you can rent to gallop down the coast, pretty cool stuff, but I'm a city boy with no riding experience and passed on this, but neat for me to watch! Bed comfortable enough, and the extra pillows I ordered online made for a very cozy night time. There were a couple of chairs on the patios, along with a swing chair for two, kind of romantic at night with all of lit up Hua Hin to look at. Since we booked on the "executive" floors, we were given access from 7am till 10pm to the roof top lounge, which offered "free" (included!) food all day. Breakfast included Various Fresh breads and rolls, Wonderful fruits, several cereals, special order eggs and omelets, and my all day favorite, self serve espresso machine! During lunch hours, the breads and fruits remained (and with dinner too) along with a variety of finger sandwiches, as much as you desire. Dinner included pastas, soups, fish, meatballs, different items each day of the week, all nicely done, so really, if you didn't want to spend on eating any special meals, this "free' food could suffice. But you'd be missing out on one of Hua Hins best deals. Inexpensive FRESH Seafood from any of a couple dozen seaside restaurants. From my balcony each morning, I could see the fishing boats come up to the Pier with their catch, and all the representatives from the restaurants buying up the days haul. This is done Seven Days a week, never a day for us without FRESH seafood. Some of the biggest and most delicate Shrimp I've had, delicious crabs, salads, and whole fish. What a Seafood Lovers DELIGHT! All just a block or so from the hotel. The Center of Hua Hin and its famous Night Markets are also just a few blocks away, no need for taxi the whole week I stayed, except for a trip to the Elephant preserve, and to one particular Temple with a HUGE Buddha. This definitely isn't the cheapest Hotel in Hua Hin, but I know the Hilton name usually means quality, and I was not dissapointed here. There are PLENTY of less expensive hotels along the beach here and in the town just north, Cha'am, but most dont offer rooms with the Large Expansive views that this Hilton supplies. On the second floor is a gymnasium, sauna, billiards and other games, and a small library (one out by the pool too!!!) They also offer daycare for children here. I was a bit bugged by not having Wi Fi included in the room price, it's like $12 a day, but if you go to their business center and use their pcs, it's free. I wanted to impress some folks with my choice of lodging in Hua Hin, and Hilton definitley supplied an impressive atmosphere.
I don't believe I saw a bad room location. If you book an actual "suite" you'll ge...
