“Quality Resort with Exceptional Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Our stay at this luxury resort was a memorable experience. The staff, rooms, restaurant, resort facilities and grounds were all magnificent. Our stay here was wonderful. Whilst inside the resort we were enjoying 5 star luxury then, only had to walk out the front and onto the street to feel as though we were in true Thailand, so we definately had the best of both worlds. The beach wasn't so great, but who needs a beach when you have beautiful pools to cool off in:)

this is one of the best stays I have had in Hilton properties, the staff is excellent, the breakfast was amazing, the pool is nice and full of activities. would like to go back again in the future! all the rooms are sea facing so the views are excellent.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

Just spent two nights here on a short trip from Bangkok to meet up with my parents who are spending a couple of weeks here. The location is superb, right in the middle of town with loads of eating and shopping options. The staff were super friendly and well drilled, exceptionally so in the executive club that has beautiful views from the 17th floor. Breakfast was excellent; both at the buffet downstairs and in the exec club upstairs, the former had more choice, the latter was a more serene & relaxed experience.
The corner room we had was massive with views of the sea and the town, while clean and tastefully decorated it was in need of some updating and refurbishment, not major but enough that I noticed. One particular annoyance was that the fridge wasn't cold - when we were leaving my wife pointed this out and was told that this was because none of them were plugged in!! The bathroom was great with a huge walk-in shower, unfortunately only one of the two showers (the handheld) worked. If we were staying for longer I'm sure these issues if highlighted could have been ironed out, the service we experienced was of the highest order...
We did not use many of the services available but suffice to say there seemed to be a plethora of family friendly activities on offer (tennis, snooker, mini golf, kids club, spa, movies) - my five year old and I contented ourselves with the pool and the water park style slide.

All in all a really enjoyable stay and a reasonable value - I'd certainly consider a return visit.

Hope you find this helpful.

Room Tip: With regard to the main tower rooms overlooking the pool face towards the royal palace and fishing p...

We stayed here as a family it was ok but far better hotels around which are less expensive & better quality, didn't like the fact that you couldn't get a Sunbed around the pool so we used the sunbeds you can hire on the beach much more relaxing then getting up early just to get a bed around the pool !!!!!!! Staff are very friendly & helpful food expensive in hotel but plenty of Resturants about close by very nice & reasonable .

Upsides
- Centrally located - 5-7 min. walk to the two night markets, and stone's throw away from gazillion restaurants and convenience stores
- Great pool
- Helpful smiling staff
- They provide complimentary bed for a kid
- Kids area and dedicated activities - paid as well as free
- Good access to its beach, not many people pestering you and peddling stuff and a short walk away from the main Hua Hin beach

Downsides
- Can't think of any

Remarks
- Go to the local night market close to the clock tower and not the jazzed up touristy place adjacent to it. Can't describe here how to distinguish them, but be there and you can figure out from the looks of it.
- You may just find clothes cheaper than MBK in Bangkok, cos the off the cuff quoted price for a t shirt in Hua Hin was lesser than what I bargained for in MBK!
- Indian dining - Maharaja is the place to go - 3 min. walk on RHS of the hotel's exit. Don't go for a place called "Bombay" - elementary dining, unless you want a weird version of home cooked food.

Room Tip: - Try to go for a room on the higher floors, and strongly recommended to take ones facing the hotel...

The Hilton is ideally located, one can walk onto the beach and nothing is to far away. Shops bars and restaurants laundries just outside front entrance.
Great pool area plenty of sun beds with umbrellas.
The rooms are very good well equipped and rooms on the pool side get afternoon sun on the balcony.
We stayed for seven nights in the third week June weather was a nice breeze most of the time hot, and with occasional rain, the rain quickly passed.
We ate several times in the hotel restaurants which have very friendly helpful staff the Chinese restaurant White Lotus on the 17th floor is extremely good and very reasonably priced, similarly the Market Place on level one has a good a la carte menu and again reasonably priced.
When we were there the hotel was occupied mainly by couples and families.
Hua Hin is nice area “quiet” not busy nothing like Pattaya!

Would we go back to the Hilton Hue Hin, most defiantly.

Room Tip: fanstaic stop over Hotel or longer

Great Hilton in Thailand along the coast in Hua Hin. First rate service and ammenities, great room with a balcony facing the water, restraunts on the premises as well as just outside the grounds in walking distance. Pool, spa and fitness room all world-class. Got a great rate, too!

Room Tip: ocean view, of course!
