“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

I stayed at Amari Hua Hin for 4 days 3 nights. This place is quite new since they have been opened for a year only. The room is spacious and room facilities are great. Bed is so comfy. The pool is very large and beautiful. Fitness is full equipped and the service is superb. It's my paradise during vacation.

I went there with my family and had a great time. The swimming pool was perfect. The rooms were clean and nice. There are not a lot of restaurants but the ones that were there were great. The breakfast was good and had plenty to choose from. It was an amazing stay but it wasn't beach front as I had to walk 500 meters to get to it. A truly wonderful stay

Comparing Amari Hua Hin to Koh Chang and Pattaya then I must say that Amari Hua Hin is worst. Room quality is very poor and not worth the price. Staff, service and food was good. Kids complaining about room smell. Would not recommend friends to stay here.

I love the pillows....so soft and comfy.
Location is good. It's near Hua hin town and very easy to find when you arrived Kao ta-kieb area. The staff, both front desk and baggages staff, were very helpful. They went out of their ways to assist us.

Here is our take on the Amari Hua Hin

We arrived after a 4 hour train journey from Bangkok and were warmly greeted by the receptionh staff, offered a welcome drink and hot towels and then shown to the room, wow very nice room overlooking the pool area.

The room was spacious and very clean with a few extras, coffee cafetiere, daily complimentary toffees and bottled water. The room was lovely and very relaxing with an extremely comfy bed.

The hotel was not overly busy when we were there (arrived 25 September) as it is the rainy season but it did not hamper us at all.

We spent days lazing by then pool or around the beach area which is not far at all and easily reached on demand by asking the bell boys by reception for a lift in the complimentary hotel buggy.

We ate a the hotel a few times and found the food to be very good but naturally being a hotel the prices are a bit more expensive than locally but still very reasonable compared to UK prices. Drink prices were also higher than the local area but not excessive. Breakfast is an amazing array of choice, all very well presented and cooked.

We used the gym daily which offered an adequate range of equipment for our needs and was not busy.

We did not use the Breeze Spa and feel that their pricing is so out of touch with reality, why pay £30 for a massage when you get it locally for less than a third of that. The experience at the Breeze Spa may be better, we don't know, but cost is an important consideration to us and i am sure to may others.

Hua Hin is a much bigger resort than we imagined it would be and we visited a range of restaurants, some nearby the hotel and some in the centre of the town. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance either to the left or right of the hotel as you come out and a songthoew can be caught for a flat fee of 10 baht per person or 15 baht between 7 and 9 pm. Taxis and tuk tuks are a flat fee of 150 baht around the resort. It is likely that wherever you stay in Hua Hin you will end up having to catch a songthoew or taxi as the heat and humidity makes it difficult to walk too far.

Overall a great stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

the hotel is not on the beach but from pictures you can see the beach. some rooms are facing the streets which is sad and the room that i want was facing the street but we changed to other room and pay a bit extra so that was good. the hotel was a bit of a family trip so if you want to go as a couple, not advised.

Room Tip: some rooms are not facing the beach so be aware
