“Rip off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

The Government is trying to encourage tourists yet charges foreigners 5 times what a local pays to enter and its it's just a creek in the jungle with a steep tough climb to see anything.

“Never ever again....”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2014

The road thither through the jungle is very nice, but when we arrived there was a hornets plague and we were engraved by one of the thousands. Also you could just foot to the first (of 6 or 8 !?) step, everything was situated higher could have been reached in the riverbed just as experienced climbers. It is also important to know that there is no mobile phone network there - you can not request assistance by phone! The sorrounding Nature itself is very nice - but the waterfall no very spectacular.

“WARNING -LEVEL 5”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

After reaching level four of five of the waterfall we were without direction to the next level (5) so we followed what looke like a steep path which appeared to us to be the only way forward (to level 5) after one hour of pretty much vertical scrambling up the mountain ( which was utterly terrifying to say the least) even the strongest member of our group decided on an equality terrifying bottom sliding return with imminent night fall we returned after an hour of clambering down back to level 4 bruised, grazed and filthy from head to toe from sliding down the terracotta earth to the river below. Thankfully we reached our car way before nightfall but no member off staff in sight ( they had all gone home) so it was just as well we made it safely back as there was no staff around to help if we needed it. Total lack of information and we are still unaware how to reach level 5

“Exhausting!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2014

Whilst staying in Hua Hin we decided to take a trip to Pala-U Waterfall. After quite a bumpy ride in the taxi to the a waterfall we headed straight for the route. Most reviews have mentioned that there is loose pathways...boy are they wrong! There was a lot of climbing over rocks and lots of ropes hanging to help climb across these. The waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous but a lot of effort was required! I would recommend this to people who love climbing & make sure you wear good footwear!!!!

“nice place but be prepaired to climb.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2014

as you will see in some of the other reviews people say about the paths. lets clear it up there are paths but alot after level 2 is climbing up and down rocks holding onto ropes and muddy paths. i love this stuff but the wife was a bit put off after an hour of doing this in the heat. the waterfalls are clear and there are alot of fish in them. we saw crabs and lizards on our way to level 4. we had a swim in a quiet part which was really good and refreshing. take good walking shoes, trainers are fine.
