“I will never return again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2011

The hotel is extremely tired and need refurbishment. The central air-cond is poorly maintained, resulted dampness in the room and most of the common areas. The carpet in the room is extremely dirty and certainly needed to be stripped and replaced. Poor customer service as they do not even provide iron even though requested. Definitely will never return again.

Worst service you can ever receive from a hotel I would say.

We were first given a smoking room even we check-in in the front desk with kids!
When we request for a room change we were told it's fully booked and must upgrade to their suites which
situated in 32 floor. However when
we check in the room was really
hot and stuffy but understandable
since it's in the afternoon but the
air condition is not cooling off after
half an hour so we call up
housekeeping & this time they send
someone over to check it but they take this matter very lightly and did
not even attempt to fix it!

Worst part is when we came back at night the air con still remain broken and no one even bother to fix it!
And when I call and complain to reception amd request for a room
change, all they tell me is we
change for you tomorrow! Horrible seevice. Paying rm200 over bucks a night for a hotel with no air con and bad service! I'll never ever comebck here anymore!

And strongly recommend you guys to think twice when booking it!

Situated in the centre of Hat Yai, Lee Gardens Plaza is convenient for purchasing all the holiday necessities you'll need for your likely onwards trip to Koh Lipe or the other Terutau islands. A 37 square metre junior suite cost us only $50 including excellent breakfast buffet for two adults and a child. The hotel is a clean and functional 4 star standard property popular with visiting Malaysian tourist groups. When visiting Hat Yai, do not make the mistake of checking into the more expensive and overhyped JB Hotel which is a long way out of town. We did exactly this and found ourselves in a mouldy and stinky small cell that my daughter demanded we leave the very next day.

This hotel is located right in the middle of Hatyai...which is very convenient for shopping and food. Central Shopping Mall is just oppossite this hotel. However, the room and its service is quite poor....except from the bellboy who carried our luggage to room. There is no kettle in the room...so we have to make a call to the receptionist counter for some hot water. The room floor carpet is so dirty and need to be change.

I stayed only one night and did not have good impression. The hotel locates right in the middle of downtown, which will be convenient for shoppers. The room looked tired and in need of renovation. The service was rather poor and the rooms were mostly smoking rooms. The gym was fancy but it was charged and you had to pay cash right up front. I negotiated to pay when checking out because I had no cash at the moment, but was refused. This was not a good way to do hotel business. Swimming pool was free but was very shallow about waist deep all the way. Breakfast buffet was consumed very fast with slow replacement. This hotel was geared towards tourists, therefore, business travellers were a bit suffering from lack of professional service. I will not stay at this hotel again, unless there is no other choice.
