Stayed here for the second night of a 5 tour old kingdoms tour with WTS. We had booked this tour independently via the internet. The tour was excellent.

Only stayed for one night but the experience was very pleasant. Rooms were nicely decorated and had facilities to make tea and coffee. Bathroom also had bath. Hair dryers were provided in the room. We were a group of 4 and were given adjoining rooms.

We had both buffet dinner and breakfast which was had a good selection including some European dishes that were well done.

Main down side was the price of the drinks; this was the most money we paid for 4 drinks on our entire holiday.

Hotel is well located for a stroll to the night market which we enjoyed, they have live bands and it was nice to sit with a drink and listen.

Had a good stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Rooms are big and the hotel is well located in Chiang Rai. Breakfast was ok, nothing really fancy compared to other Fareastern breakfasts.

Rooms smell like they have loads of mold in them. Nothing really helped to get rid of the smell. Eventhough it was high season, the hotel was really empty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, take some other hotel in the beautiful city of Chiang Rai.

Our family stayed here for one night only. Check in went smoothly and staff were friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast in the buffet restaurant. I must say the food was outstanding and a great selection (even fish and chips!) The rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms were fine also. We didn't have time to use the pool but it seemed ok ,perhaps a little small.The night markets are just down the road. Also a pharmacy. Swensons icecream and a 7/11. We would stay here again.

Checked in and was given room 359. This room's air conditioning was not orking properly. I was then downgraded to a superior to room 440 (with no refund). The air conditioning was not very good here either. Surprisingle, the North of Thailand was warmer than the South or even Bangkok so having an air conditioning was important to me.

In the move, the bell captain lost 4 tee shirts that were never found and nobody seemed to care. All in all, I do not believe I would be returning to Chiang Rai but if I do, I certainly would not stay at this property again, that is for certain.

They also never returned my emails when I inquired about them possibly mailing me the items that they lost while I was in other properties in and around Thailand. No responses and extremely apathetic makes this hotel a bummer!
