Owner description: Your adventure begins at an unspoiled Mien/Yao Hill-Tribe we have 2 tours available, Half-Day & Full-Day. We have something for young & old, single travelers, honeymooners, families, in fact everyone! Both our tours have a stunning swimming/diving waterfall as the destination (towels supplied). The All-Day tour also goes to Haunted Fishing Lake and includes complimentary lunch. Our tours take in forests, safe mountain ridges, hidden valleys and are mostly off-road. There is a 10 minute trek through the jungle on both tours, as long as you can walk up/down hill for 10 minutes, you will be fine, it's nothing too strenuous. For more details check our website. We normally collect from your hotel twice a day, and in the low-season often at a time to suit you, so why not give us a go? We're not rated so highly for no reason! We are both Eco friendly and philanthropic, our primary aim is to improve the lives of our Hill Tribe and by being a customer you are helping us to help them.

Hi Mandy, it was great to meet your lovely family. We sure got them dirty, when they set off it was dry but the last 30 minutes or so, it rained cats and dogs! I really enjoyed chatting with your husband, one of life's gentlemen and he certainly has a way with dogs. Our little Shih-Tzu was smitten with him. Come again next time, and you and I can just relax at the house drinking something appropriate with me ;-) and watch them from the top of the mountain.

“Family fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

All said before, these people really do make you feel special and it's luxury all the way. Special thanks to Sing and San our guides. This should really be called Chiang Rai UTV because they don't use ATV quads which makes it infinitely safer and suitable for all ages. We were told to bring a change of clothes, swimming costumes, sunscreen and mossie repellent. We didn't see any sun or mossies! but we did see lots of mud, go fast and get dirty or slow and stay clean we were told, 3 guesses what we did. Highlight of the trip for the kids was getting to drive on the village green. Highlight for mum & dad was the drive though the valleys and on the mountain ridges. Fantastic, safe day out.

Hi Griff, we are really pleased you had a great time, "down and dirty" like the other ATV companies is not the market we aim for and most of our customers are families or couples. I sometimes ride the trails on my motorbike just to enjoy the scenery, we are really lucky to be located at the last unspoilt hill tribe village in the National Park with such accomodating Park Rangers. We hope you will come again next time and see us.

“An excellent day out for all the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

We just had 1 night in chiang rai enroute to the Thai/Lao border and opted to spend a full day riding the atvs. We were a group of 5 ranging from 7 to 74 and all had a fantastic day. My 12 year old drove his own atv, my mum was driven by Sing in the lead vehicle and my 7 year old daughter was a passenger but had a chance to drive by herself before lunch on the village green to her delight.

The morning and afternoon tours were excellent fun, lunch and the swim at pow was amazing . Talking to Bruce and Sing was very enjoyable. At the end of the day we were dropped off in Chiang Khong on the border at no extra charge. Thoroughly recommend to all - a great way to see and explore the countryside and we felt like welcome guests not tourists

“Superb, great day out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Recommended by our hotel, we really enjoyed this day out. It's all been said in the other reviews, equipment in tip top condition, safe, exciting and a great way to see the countryside. Sing our guide has to be the most friendly Thai guy in the world and takes a great pride in what they door. Connor junior (11) had never driven before, but Sing game him a lesson on the football field and he took to it like a duck to water so we let him drive a machine to the waterfall. Even Laragh (7) had a driving lesson, but we weren't confident to let her loose on the trails. The trails are well maintained and shared with the local farmers who seemed really pleased to see us. The swimming place at the waterfall is stunning and Lucky the swimming dog wanted to come home with us, and Laragh wanted him too!!!! The house where you start/finish is amazing, perched on top of a mountain with views for 10 miles. Not cheap at 9,000 baht for 2 cars, but worth every penny.

“best day in thailand so far”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

luvly people, Sing was very polite, Bruce was charming, place is located in the unspoiled mountains, ATV's are all in great shape. pickup and return to our hotel, then the ride itself through forests, mountains and valleys was just breathtaking. farmers were all waving at crazy Germans and we felt really welcome. swimming hole at waterfall looked a little brown but had rained a lot the night before and once we were in it was clean enough. finished off with another swim at house on the mountain and left after our half day wondering how to follow this wonderful day out

Thank you Greer for your kind review. I enjoyed the discussion we had about the machines. It's always a pleasure to meet and chat with an experienced ATV'er. You are right about faster machines getting novices into danger, we do still have a zero injury record, it is a great testimonial to the safety features of the buggies and the safety instructions we give. Come back again soon and let's have another debate.
