This is a good place to go for the amerture hiker. Some really nice views and nature to look at. Walk can be challenging in parts and you should wear suitable shoes for walking as some of the climbs and descents are a little tricky. Having said that my 6 year old manged it with some help from me. Morning time is probably best time to go before it gets too hot. Avoid the place if it is raining, i expect it is prone to flash floods and would want to be stuck on some if those trails in a torrent of water.
Take a few bottles of water so you can pace yourself a it does get hot. Some simple snacks wouldn't go a miss for the walk to keep the energy up. I will be going back with my son to explore the trails we didn't get to try.
