We enjoyed walking around the grounds, seeing the rooms, and learning about the king (can't remember...Rama VI maybe?) who had this home built. It was also interesting to learn more about the lives of the Thai royalty at this time. Since the site is part of the royal family, make sure you are appropriately dressed. My husband did not have to wear pants but he had to make sure his shorts went to his knees. My daughter and I wore long skirts. You take off your shoes to see the rooms upstairs.
