My family and I stayed for one week at this lovely hotel. We all loved it! Well-managed and great service. The garden is fantastic with a small but very nice pool. We are five persons in our family so we had two connecting rooms in "sea-view building". The rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. If you only need one room there are lovely bungalows by the sea.
This hotel also have a really nice restaurant on the beach. We tried some other restaurants in Khao Lak, but none of them had soo nice food and great service. They are very good in making thai food as well as western. The hotel is also very well situated, five minutes walk to the mainroad with shops and restaurants. The beach is just outside the hotel and it is very nice in this part of Nang Thong. I highly recommend this resort and I hope I will have the opportunity to visit it again.

Me and my family spend 10 sunny days in Nang Thong Bay Resort. Rooms were lovely, clean and well appointed. Wonderful bathrooms!
Location is great, right on the beach, and less than 10 minutes walk from the main street where all the shops are.
Hotel has beach chairs for guests, separate towels for beach use and nice little pool.
Great value for the money!

On our way from Khao Sok natural park to Phuket we passed Khao Lak and stopped for a drink and discovered the Nangthong Bay Resort. What a pleasant surprise, unfortunately we could only stay over for 2 nights.
The resort has a beautiful design with lovely pool next to the beach and sea. Views (day and night) are lovely. In Khao Lak there is plently of night life although it is not next to the resort, but within walking distance.
Very clean and very spaceous rooms, pleasant english speaking staff, internet available free of charge.
The restaurant is nice but it seems the kitchen struggles from time to time to live up to the broad menu.
Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay!

We found this resort after staying one night at Baan Krating and not finding value for money at that place. Nang Thong Bay Resort is right on the beach (Nang Thong Bay) which is actually near the most busy part of Khao Lak as far as restaurants and hotels go. Khao Lak beach is actually one bay before Nang Thong but this is what everyone considers "Khao Lak". The whole resort was wiped out in the Tsunami but has been rebuilt with concrete buildings and bungalows (previous were wood). It's only been open for a year and the 3 storey hotel block we were in was only one month old. There was still a bit of work going on but nothing obtrusive. The amazing room was only $45 Canadian per night, an amazing value. The pool is big, swim-up bar and the resort is steps from a beautiful sand beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is good but there's better/cheaper places in town (a 5 min walk). The bungalows looked great and were only $60/night.
Highly recommend this resort, great value.
