Lots of choice among places to stay in Arusha... I opted for this one on the eve of a Mt Meru trek. The location might be the best thing about the hotel - unbeatably central, next door to the clock tower in a lively and - for Arusha - safe-ish part of town. Everything else was o.k. too - o.k. value (again, for Arusha, where accomodation prices are much higher than almost elsewhere in the country), small, dark and very clean room with an a/c and a hot shower that both actually worked. In addition, you get a balcony and rooftop terrace (no view though); and downstairs is a noisy Indian restaurant and a supermarket - so you can stock up without actually leaving the building!. Service was cheerful and friendly. Recommended for short stays and if atmosphere isn't a priority.
