We stayed here on Christmas Eve, arriving late in the evening--along with, apparently, everyone else staying in this hotel. It is the closest hotel to the airport. You can see it from outside the terminal. But you cannot walk there. The hotel runs an infrequent shuttle--every 30 minutes most times of day--and we waited for twenty minutes, to discover that the too small shuttle was full, and many could not get on. So we tried to get a taxi, but there were few to be found, despite a queue extending around the terminal. So back to the hotel shuttle stop we went, and this time forced our way onto the van. It was heaving people. We had the same experience in the morning, even though we left around 8 am. The shuttle is just too small and too infrequent.
That said, the hotel itself was fine. Check-in was smooth, they offered us an upgraded room for having Accor status, and even left some little perks in the room. It was still small, and the bed was too hard for our taste, but it was clean and for one night would do. We will not rush back. The Executive Club looked decent, nothing special--but then, this is an airport hotel. So that is how we will remember the hotel--hard to get to despite it being tantalizingly close to the airport, but not a bad airport hotel otherwise.
