We booked the 3 hr private hotspring room package. Very nice and modern room design as compared to those in Beitou or around Taipei County. Price is also slight cheaper. When we were there in May, the common areas in the hotel looked quite deserted and quiet. Location is located amids the greenery and away from the hustle and bustle. Fresher air too. Probably a nice place to stay if you like nature and do not mind the distance from town. If you are those who need to stay next to a night market or shopping circle, then just visit this place for hotspring.
There was 1 issue though. The hotel does not respond to enquiry via facebook or email after several reminders. My hotel reception helped us to call to book as well as how to get there. Surprisingly, they said they do not take reservation (first come first serve) and has no idea how we can reach there via public transport from Taichung Train Station. Nevertheless, take bus 15 (if I remember correctly) to 'Fengjia Bridge' in Dakeng and then change a bus which stopped right in front of the foot of the little uphill access to the hotel. Check with the bus driver as most of them know this place. Otherwise, call the hotel to ask again. They might have improve their service.
