“6 Year Old's Dream Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a quirky but lovely property really catering to families. I do not share the opinion that the hotel is old and needs updating - it is quite charming and comfortable. There are many activities and places to explore. The restaurants on the resort are what you would expect for a place catering to children; there is some attempt and more sophisticated fare that falls short. We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and would definitely return: and our daughter hasn't stopped talking about this place for months.

We stayed in a suite which was large enough for a family of 3 generations, (costing me USD 400 a night). the room was good. but the facilities, the pool, the food (breakfast) were really bad, old, and badly maintained.
It was a bit far away from Kenting, I wasn't really mind, but the food (breakfast) at the hotel was quite bad, so I must go out and hunt for good restaurants.
I did not like the pool, a bit dirty.
Pictures looked much nicer, perhaps they were taken many years back.
I am sorry, I do not think I will come again.
I shall do a better research next time if I plan to come to come to Kenting again.

This hotel is ideal for family or you carry the bicycle and cycle around. Room is big enough and you could upgrade for a upper floor bedroom that could fit 4 people and 2 bikes!
They offer shuttle bus take you to South Bay where Yoho own the shower and changing room facilities there with fresh water supply.

Food at hotel is just very so so...just to fill up your stomach and do not expect anything. The hotel is also in middle of nowhere so better hire a car or driver to travel around.

The temple opposite to the hotel also make frequent firework even in the evening....if you go to bed early, not so ideal...

This hotel is basically for kids. They offered different kid activities at different time. Forgot if additional $ was involved. Didn't ask my wife. Booked one of those specialty rooms with a loft. No complaints on the room. The deco and design were very kids friendly.

My kid loved the kiddie pool. It bugged the shxt out of me that swimming hats were required to use the pool. So, if you are going to swim, bring your own. The stores in the hotel offered swimming hats for $40NTD.

Breakfast was served till noon. Choices were good.

Shuttles were offered to downtown Kenting and other attractions nearby. I end up renting a car for a day instead of wasting time waiting for the buses and their shuttles.

Pick this hotel only if you have kids. Not recommended for those who like night scenes.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that face the kiddie pool if you prefer to sleep in. The kiddie pool is operational fro...

We (4) were given a big loft room well equiped with the neccesities. The resort was kid-friendly and had some activities for adults but we chose to go out of town on bicycle or to the main Kenting shopping district for meals and activities. The resort is some distance away from the town and there are limited shuttle bus timings during the day. They serve rather good buffet at different cafes situated around the resort. We were there during winter and it was freezing to even go near the pools/ sea but I suppose it'll be fun to have a good swim when spring is here.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We recently stayed at this hotel with family. We were a group of 4 adult and a 4 month old baby. First of all, the hotel is in a desperate need of an upgrade. The rooms, swimming pool and the hot spa areas were old and dirty.

We requested a cot for our baby, this thing of bamboo cage with no mattress turned up at our room. Needless to say our baby had a horrible night sleep!

The hotel markets itself as a beach hotel. The 'beach' had no sand but lots of huge rocks which could cause serious injuries if not careful.

A disappointing stay, should've check other options before booking.

We stayed here during the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. It worked out great. The staff were so helpful in all ways. The room in the biking section was ideal. The breakfast buffet had everything. Its a bit out of the way so you need a car to get around. Prices were ok as there were specials due to the event.

Room Tip: No good sandy beach
