“A lovely hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

I've stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights and I enjoyed my stay here!

The hotel's location is superb as it is near to city council mrt (within 5 mins walk) as well as Liouhe night market.

The room is awesome as it is a home feel room decorated with retro sofa and comes with comfy beds & pillows. The bathroom is spacious and strong water pressure. Also, free breakfast is included in our package, they offers plenty of foods including western or taiwanese breakfast.

The service is good as my check in was done within 5 mins and managed to check-in to our room earlier. Staffs are polite and always helpful.

The hotel also offers free bike rental, you may want to explore the city on bike.

It's difficult to believe this hotel is ONLY a three-star establishment! The location is pretty central, not far from Louihe night market, and 5 mins. from the metro station (exit 4). There is a convenience store nearby (pick up a large can of Taiwanese beer for only 41 NT$).
The entrance is through heavy wooden doors - somewhat hard to identify at first, and possibly not the best way to attract passing trade!
Smart lobby (local information brochures), welcoming, efficient and very helpful staff, weird modern art dotted around... free computers with internet.

The rooms are not large, but spotlessly clean, entirely functional (good shower and toilet facilities), with a comfortable bed and all the "bits and bobs" - kettle, har-dryer, LAN cable, alarm clock, plasma TV...

The breakfast is a really varied buffet, served on the second floor (which is also the bar at night, closing at 3 a.m.. Taiwanese food (some slightly unidentifiable), loads of vegetables, scrambled eggs, "iron" eggs, the obligatory fried bits of bacon, toast... excellent!
A great place to stay, at a relatively low rate.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms offer the same high standard.

We stayed two nights in this hotel, and found it very good value for money. The quad rooms are quite generous in size, and very clean and comfortable. We peeped in on a single room with no window. I am sure it was very cheap but would be quite claustrophobic, but the regular rooms looked great. The location is very good: a short walk from the MRT (take exit four, turn left onto the big main road, then take the first right at the crossroads onto Liuhe 2 Rd), not far from either the main railway station or the airport by MRT. Very close to the Liuhe night market. Breakfast is typical Taiwan hotel breakfast fare: nothing special but good enough, certainly considering the price. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

These hotel I got review from tripadvisor, too. It's a small hotel with small room but very clean. The linen are very clear. They have complete toiletry. So a small hotel with complete essential things. They also have breakfast. A nice place to have a good rest after a tried day.

This is one of the better hotels that I have stayed in. The location is good (5 mins walk from metro station), and its just beside the liouhe night market. I like the hotel's decoration. It certainly makes the hotel looks class. Breakfast is provided and I thought it was really delicious. 5 star for this hotel!!

Clean room, spacious toilet with decent breakfast provided. Every floor of this boutique hotel has a different theme and murals painted in the room. It gives a welcoming vibe especially after a long travel journey. Location is good, about 3-4min walk to the nearest MTR station .

Even though the LiouHe Night Market is a stone's throw away from the hotel, I would not recommend visiting it. The food prices are more expensive and definitely targeted at tourists who have not seen any night markets where the locals patronise.
Instead, go to Rueifeng Night Market (Take the Red Line (R9) to Kaohsiung Arena Station – take exit number 1 and it is only about a 3 minute walk.)

I loved the boutique concept and the decorations were pleasing to the eyes. Their location is excellent. If you are taking the high-speed train, the hotel is located just about a few streets down which makes traveling much more convenient. (Just note that taxi drivers might be reluctant to take you given the shorter distance. I was told you have to pay at least an additional NT30 if there are heavy luggages. We didn't run on the meter and it cost us NT100.)

It is also less than a 10 minute walk down to the nearby Metro Train Station - City Council. There is a nearby night market down the street as well but it wasn't my favorite: it seems to be commercialized as they are largely food stalls and crowded with Mainlander tourists.

The morning breakfast area could be a little crowded but finding a seat shouldn't be too difficult. They have a self-service laundry service which I haven't try but the idea of it does sound good.
