“100% of the Disney Like Family Fun, 25% of the cost”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

As a Disney fan who enjoy them parks with great rides, nice and clean facility, as well as friendly and well trained staff, Yi-Da World Them Park AKA E-DA World gave our one day visit a 100% Disney like fun with only 25% of the cost. (When I add cost of admission, food, and gift shops all together)

By size, the acreage like half the size of the Disneyland Park in Ca, but because more than half the rides and attractions are indoor in multi level buildings (yea, that means no rain or sun while waiting in the line, and easy access from one attraction to another)

By attractions and rides, they have world class rides and facilities, any where from kiddie rides to space mountain like roller coaster, and guess what, they even have a "Soaring over Taiwan" ride, just like Soaring Over California in California Adventure in Disneyland Resort, which showcasing a simulation ride "flying" over beautiful Taiwan's many natural landscapes.
Becasue we are travelling with our 5 year old, we apprecate a whole building with more than a dozen kid freindly rides.

Shows - they offered Parades and Shows free. They hired performerces from eastern europe with world class productions.
One of the show was in the E-Da Theather, a very beautiful Perforamce Center and a MUST MUST see.

Food and Gift Shops - For less than half of the Disneyland prices, there are many themed dining options to chose from. Anything from Bugers and Fries, table service dining, to local street food kiosk. Gift shops are plenty, with fair prices.

Employees - are well trained and follows safty procedure very well. They are all friendly.

Tips - Stay at one of the two hotels in the area. Walk to the Mall for dinner and shopping. Allow another day to visit the 1 year old Buddha Memorial Center only 20 minutes away via US$2 shuttle ride. Very inexpensive shuttle ride to and from the High Speed Rail, City Center.

“Not that big but nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Quite impressed with the Taiwanese for coming up with their very own theme park. Similar to those of Disneyland or Universal Studio although relatively smaller. However, quite a number of rides for children ages. Even my toddler (4years old) got to go onto a few rides and enjoyed himself very much. Since it is not very big, walking distances were not very far...and once we were done, walking back to the mall was also quite near.

“Transportation Woes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

We travelled to this theme park via the e-da shuttle bus located next to main station at Kaohsiong. The queue for each bus was very long as intervals between buses were about >20 mins and the bus does not allowed standing passengers. This theme park is the latest addition to the stable of theme parks in Taiwan. This theme park is considered as small as most of the kiddy rides are located indoors within a building. It's best to go early in the morning to avoid bus crowds and complete all rides and leave an hour before the park closes. As the park ticket includes ferris wheel ride which is located at the other end of e-da mall, it is recommended to allocate time to complete the ferris wheel ride close to dawn for a good view of the city. Try boarding the shuttle bus from the other bus stop in the middle of e-da mall near gucci outlet as all buses departing from e-da world will reserve seats for passengers from e-da mall. The park is relatively empty most of the time, hence there's no need to plan your rides.

“Small Park but good variety.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

There some activities at the outdoor, mainly for adults and children taller than 140cm. For small children, their games are mainly at the indoor areas.
