Beware that there are quite a bit of stairs climbing. The view from the gate of the Confucius Temple overlooking the town is great, but don't be fooled by the higher look-out point where statue of Sun Yet-sen stood. The view there was blocked by vegetation.
A great place to visit if you have a keen interest on chinese culture, somewhere to go especially if you are a student;)
I was here on a Monday and literally had the whole place to myself for a little under an hour.
Spacious and Symmetrical, there is, however not many parts of the temple that can be visited (at least during my time there). Some nice angles for which to take a few photo's.
Quiet and serene, start here early in the day before making your up to the dragon/tiger pagoda's, Fengshan Wall etc.
It is not packed with visitors that you can walk leisurely, however, there is not much to see.
