monkey mt is a great spot to visit in Kaohsuing. we always park at the entrance next to the temple and smell all the great smells as you start climbing.
there are lots of monkeys so be careful what you bring, they will snatch the food right out of your hand.
the trail has been mostly covered by wood so the footing is very good but it is a great workout and you are always covered in sweat.
at the top they have some terrific tea and the people are always very friendly.
it can be a difficult climb so be warned.
