This is the best value for money hotel in our entire trip - out of the seven hotels we stayed in Taiwan. We stayed two nights here and really appreciate how the hotel went all out to make our stay comfortable.
Reception staff were very polite and helpful. Our family room was exceedingly clean and smelt good, with wood laminated floor. Two pairs of bedroom slippers per person were provided, one disposable type, the other was probably for wearing to the dining room. We had a small fridge, not the mini bar kind but the usual fridge kind. They also provide, upon request and availability, extra pillow, air purifier, hair dryer, bath robe, nail clipper, ear plug, facial cream, baby wash basin, baby cot etc at no extra cost.
Our family room came with 2 comfy queen size beds. There was a small window, which was sufficient for us, since there wasn't much view outside from the window. Good free wifi in the room. The only thing we wished we had was a bigger cupboard with more hangers to hang our clothes. There was only one small open cupboard, with 4 hangers for the 4 of us.
Bathroom was clean and practical, although there was no bath tub, the shower with massaging function was good for us. There were even separate shower gel/shampoo/conditioner for men and women.
The free-of-charge self service laundry facility was excellent. There were 4 washers and 4 dryers, all in working condition. They provided powdered concentrated detergent, fabric softener, hangers, laundry bags, laundry baskets even laundry nets for free.
Besides the laundry, there were also free to use computers/Mac, bicycles and packets of tissue paper at the reception counter, for those of us who were rushing out and forgot to pack in our bags!
Breakfast was a good spread of east and west. For coffee drinkers, there was a coffee maker that made expresso and cappuccino. For tea drinkers, there was a variety of teas, green tea, fruit flavored tea, even one which was "slimming tea".
Another great free service was that throughout the whole day and night, the coffee, tea and juice counters were open, and there was also a self service ice cream bar and pop corn station. One night we went for a hot drink after a long day out and we were offered free chinese pork buns to go with our drinks.
Great and thoughtful service!
