“Surreal landscape...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Instead of saying what I like or dislike, I will give some tips:

*There are 3 spots to see the landscape. Unless you are told you are going to see some ecotourism aspect of the habitat, don't bother going further down and down to 3 different spots. You will essentially see the same thing.
*It is a very windy place. I learnt in my recent visit that a tourist fell off from the cliff! Partly due to his recklessness to climb on a perching rock so be careful.
*Get a qualified guide driver instead of an ordinary driver.

Happy to share my travels here: http://happyhealthysg.blogspot.sg/

“Stunning Coastal Landscape”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

The coastal cliffs north of the Taroko Gorge are certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. The marble sequence which forms such stunning scenery in the gorge here meets the sea and several hundred metre high cliffs drop steeply into the sea. There are a few accessible beaches but probably not suitable for swimming. Any visit here is enhanced by the approach along the main road which hugs the cliff or dives off into tunnels along this part of the coastal highway. There are a few places to pull off the road to appreciate the scenery and take a few photos. An hour or two is probably enough to get the flavour of this stunning piece of landscape. Some of the bluest water I've seen in a coastal environment.

“Splendid view of cliff along the highway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

This place is simply awesome. The view is spectacular, and good spot for photography. YOu can even see the best parts when get down to the beach and the beach itself is so blue with pebbles. Swimming is not permitted though. And from the beach you can see the more stretched view of the cliff.

“It was misty and drizzling”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

No doubt, Chingchui cliff offer a breathtaking view of the coast. When I was there, it was rather misty. Thus, I did not manage to get to photograph the green-blue ocean versus the deathly cliff. But a great stop to enjoy the beautiful geographical formation.

“Bluest beach ever!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

the beach are amazing and clean. it has strong waves and marble pebbles, no swimming are allowed there. But the view is one of the best in the world. its too hot in the summer so bring your sunscreen and wide hat.
