It's all about destiny to find out this wonder place in Hualien. Four of us decided to visit the East coast of Taiwan sometime in March and started searching different hotels and home stays for a few weeks. One day, when I browsed through the blogs from one of the local tourist in Taiwan, I was attracted by a gorgeous piano photo. Then I started browsing the photos on her blog, realized that the place is full of artistic including more than thousands of books, as well as a limited edition piano in the world.
I drove around 2 hours from Yulian to Bosendorfer-Castle. When we arrived, it was around 6:00p.m. in the evening. The owner was very friendly and brought us to look around his 'castle' and introduced each room to us. After we picked our room, he also played two piano pieces to welcome us. The place is very different to those places I stayed in Japan, if you are not looking for a commercial 'home-stay' place, Bosendorfer-castle is definite of your choice. We felt like staying in one of our friend's home, the place is full of love, passion in music and life.
We only stayed for 2 nights and didn't have chance to stay any longer. The owner was very sweet to make some coffee for us in the morning and we managed to find some of our favorite books to read. The place is located the outskirts of the Hualien City but it's such a quiet and warm place we have never been. I would highly recommend any of you to stay if you want to get out of the busy cities.
