“Good coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

It is clean and easy to find. Lavazza coffee in Sri Lanka! Read the Sunday paper under the fan - chill out factor = 10 out of 10!

“Good chill-out place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

I came here one evening and had a delicious tuna and avocado sandwich.
The menu was pretty much the same as most places in Galle, as were the prices. The service was a little slow, but not too bad compared to a lot of places I've been to. It's a shame this place doesn't serve alcohol. - it would've been nice to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal in the lovely courtyard in which this restaurant is situated.

“There are better places”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Food was OK, but not great and they had no sambol or other spices to pep it up. Service was pretty slow, but that'd be OK if the food were better. Nice ambience, but I fear they rest on those laurels and assume the tourists wandering the streets will be drawn in by that.

“Good, but over priced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

Sitting down to dinner I was quite impressed by our waiters diligence. The food is average but your paying more for the service than anything else. A decent place if you want a slice of home.

“Chill out with an iced coffee”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Serves delicious iced coffees with comfortable seating and magazines to read. Definitely recommended as a place to break your sightseeing round the fort. We didn't eat there, so cannot comment on the quality of the food. My only reservation would be the pricing - which is not exactly rock-bottom. But then this is in the centre of a very tourist oriented attraction.
