It looks fairly unappealing from the outside, but when you go inside it stretches back a long way, with a sheltered courtyard at the rear.Plenty of fans overhead keep you cool.
It's not fine dining, but we had lovely fresh grilled prawns with salad, and fresh fruit juices. Just what was wanted on a hot and steamy day. Service is "relaxed", but we were on holiday and perfectly happy not be rushed. We stayed in the Fort for 3 days and went to Pedlars twice. Other diners recommended the breakfast muesli.
