“Good budget hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Stayed 2 nights in September 2012. Room is cleaned and well equiped with all the necessities like hair dryer, mineral water, tea & coffee. Room is cleaned up daily and drinks replenished. If you are big then the small bath towels may be inconvenient. Walking distance to the two nearby waterfalls. Taxi to Olle Trai #7(Oeldolgae) easy, about 3,500 won. There are restaurants and convenient store nearby. About 10 mins walk to Airport Bus 600 stop. Good budget hotel, no food available inside hotel.

Little France Hotel is located in central Seogwipo, one could easily walk to the nearby Jeongbang Falls and the Seogwipo Olle Market. For places outside Seogwipo, buses nearby connects you to the Jungmun Tourist Complex or Jejusi, stopping by Seongsan Ilchulbong or Manjang Caves (approx 1-1.5 hours ride). But buses are cheap here.

The service was okay here, English is limited but the staff tries their best to help such as helping us print a reservation for KTX to getting a taxi. The Oriental Room was like a modernized version of the Korean Ondol. We aren't aware if there are any other facilities available in Little France.

Overall its just a nice, well-located hotel, that isn't too expensive.

This mid range hotel is clean, mostly well appointed and well looked after by the staff. The rooms are large enough for two people and the bathroom was very clean and contains everything you need (except large towels). There is free wireless internet, although it needed a restart (powerdown) to get it to work really well. Air con was great and my room had a small balcony which I really liked. The fridge in the room was also a great bonus.

The best part of this hotel is its location, especially if you like to experience local food. It is within walking distance of the harbour, waterfall and what must be several hundred restaurants. It's also 50 m from a convenience store and is near public transport and the shuttle bus to/from the airport. If you are here for a convention it cost about $US11 by taxi to the ICC..

Some minor cons include the fact that staff don't speak English well (and my Korean is even worse) but they tried to help whenever they could. And the beds are quite hard. And the small towels might bother some - but I just thought they were funny. And don't get too hung up on the different room "themes". Essentially they are the same with a few differences in furniture and fittings.

All in all, it is an excellent hotel for the price.

Room Tip: Room 508 has a nice small balcony. Rooms on harbour side have nice views.

We rented Olleh Wibro Egg in incheon intl airport so we can have internet anywhere. (this helped us in locating the hotel from the bus stop by using our iphones) having this egg is very helpful i suggest u rent one. Youll be online and never be lost with google maps!

Take the 600 limousine bus and alight at new kyungnam hotel. Cross the road and walk towards sun beach hotel then turn left at the first intersection then go straight and Cross another intersection again.

Pros:
The room was spacious. Big bottle 1L of distilled water is replenished everyday so you'll not need to buy outside. Coffee and tea is also provided alon with a water thermos to heat water for coffee.

There's an in room computer and a wireless router for in room wifi for free!

Toiletries and towels are replenish everyday.

Convenience stores, coffee shops and restaurants are near the hotel.

Owner of hotel speaks english and provided us information how to get to attractions. But the staff do not speak english! We just presented our voucher from agoda. And the front desk check the names. Gave us the keys. He didnt speak a word. Purely transactional!

Whenever we beed assistance, We communicated with our google translate with our iphones :p

Cons:
Hard Bed!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel Little France for 4 nights. We chose the modern room on the second floor. The room was larger than other hotel rooms we have stayed in throughout Asia. It was raining when we checked in and the clerk cheerfully lenses us umbrellas. The hotel is 5 blocks south of the rotary where you can catch buses to explore the rest of the island. Beware, the multi-story apartment building being constructed is only a narrow street from the front door and noise can be a bother early in the am. Would definitely reccomend.

A homey hotel, feeling like already at home. The location was good and easy to find. Close to water fall and airport Limousin bus. Room was clean with all the amenities inside. The best things was there is a private WIFI for (I guess) every room. Except the black color, made me step back ward for a while, the shower room and toilet was ok. Staff cant really speak English, but very helpful with their helps to decide restaurant and to negotiate a spa-agent to get a free transport.

Room Tip: free high speed wifi. the higher floor it is located the better view you have. clean and for a trave...

The room window faces the sea, so we can see the boats docking in the harbor. Hotel owner and staffs would respond to guest's requests quickly, though the staffs can't really speak in English. Making gestures while talking might help, or simply prepare translation in Korean in advance.
Hotel exterior is a bit aged and unobtrusive, however, room is clean and well kept. Wooden furniture and floor in the hotel room made us feeling cosy. Almost all TV channels are in Korean, so we can use more time on sight seeing. In room wi-fi is convenient and free.
The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the main street and the Cheonjiyeon Waterfall. Airport limousine bus stop (New Kyungnam Tourist Hotel) is not far away. If driving, there's a parking lot at the hotel. For city bus, there is a route #2 bus stop around.
There's a GS25 (convenient store) 50 meters away. Should you need more supplies, there's also a supermarket nearby in walking distance. You may also find a lot of restaurants around the supermarket.

Room Tip: Royal classic rooms at the top floor are quiet with great view. If staying in other floors, make sur...
