“Great staff at Hotel Incheon Airport”

Hotel Incheon Airport

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and very helpful. Because I had asked for a late check-out, I was given a higher class of room. The rooms have international news channels, free internet access, and really great showers.
Viraj was especially helpful, fetching me in the middle of the night with no complaints, suggesting restaurants, and offering friendly service.
I recommend this hotel for anyone who transits through Korea, has horrible jetlag, or needs to feel welcomed and looked after.

Here is a quick review with easy to digest information.
I stayed here as I was stopping over for 24 hours on the way to Australia.
Any longer stays in Korea then maybe its good to see Seoul, an hour and half away from airport.
But to refresh, eat, sleep and be comfy, this is a perfect hotel.
Things that didnt transpire - No DVD library, only 3 English speaking channels (news) out of many. The FREE minibar, his just the fridge with 2 cans of juice in.
Everything else was fine. Aircon worked, shower/bath was great, and electronic toilet was great for getting sprayed in the face (buttons in Korean!)
Bed VERY comfy (i had Double Delux room),
Staff happy to help, wake up call came on time.
Free transport to airport is part of the bargain, a handt freebee.
Surrounding area - I just used the recommended resturant, that as my first time to Korea, so food was a mistery. Lack of English speakers but menu was translated. Food cheap and good.
24hr convenience store opposite hotel.
Not much else other than resturants, take your pick and hope for the best!
Didnt see any Westerners in my day here, but safe environment.
Hope this helps any stop over people!

They gave us a complimentary room upgrade and to our delight the room was behind our imagination...we had a great stay over there...memorable..and the Manager Mr. Viraj came to recommend restaurant and even ordered food for us too. And all other staff are very kind and willing to assist you to see your stay is comfortable...Love to stay there again...

“Great staff but room set up a challenge to foreigners”

My parents and I stayed for a night a the Hotel Incheon Airport (it used to be called the New Airport Hotel) prior to departing Korea from Incheon Airport after a two-week visit in August. We booked a twin deluxe room that had one full sized bed and a twin bed. The room was relatively small and seemed especially crowded with too many electronic devices for our tastes and abilities (i.e. lights, tv, etc. all worked off of one remote). The bathroom had a shower area that simply drained into the main floor drain (but not too well) and a tub with a hand-held shower attachment and no shower curtain. This proved challenging for us as we were not used to keeping water in the tub without a shower curtain and the floor did not drain very well so that large puddles of water made the bathroom floor a little hazardous. The toilet and sink were separate from the shower room. Perhaps the most annoying feature of the room however, was a large (around 4 foot high) refrigerator containing items for sale. The door was transparent to see the food inside and was lighted from behind to show the food. This light could not be turned off during the night and provided quite a bit of illumination in the room which did not make for ideal sleeping conditions (we tried to put a towel over it and then a hanging bag, but there was still a lot of light coming through). Also, the area around the hotel did not have a lot of varied restaurant offerings or too many other amenities. We did go to a good Chinese restaurant recommended by the staff however, and there is a Dunkin Donuts up the block as well as a convenience store across the street.

Despite the challeges noted above, the shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent and the staff spoke good English and were helpful. Breakfast is included with the room and ours was pretty good for hotel sorts of food.

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — Good shuttle service to and from airport and nice front desk staff
    • Disliked — Room set up
    • Tips/Secrets: — This hotel was okay for one night but I don't think I'd stay longer than that

We overnighted here with our 18-month old and took the room with the crib but they charged 35,000W ($38USD for the crib) which other hotels we stayed in gave at no extra cost. Oddly though, the room with a crib also had a full sized and fully lit, vending machine which meant the baby had trouble sleeping. Convenient to/from shuttle, friendly staff. From what I can tell this hotel has nothing to do with the actual Incheon airport save the name. Only average for the price and would choose another place if had to do it again.
