“Among beautiful nature”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Grotto is small and not particularly impressive.... Has big religious value for believers. For me what was very impressive, was surrounding nature as a beautiful backdrop to the ancient construction...

“Overhyped”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Brim construction with earth slapped on top...so not the expected cave grotto etc. nice Buddha statue but 10 min track along windy dirt path and rock stairs from car park to a glass enclosed room within a tiny temple may be a little disappointing since most tourist material portrays beautifully lit images with mystic and elegant enchantment.....no photos allowed within....

“Breathtaking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

It was breathtaking not only because you have to walk about 10 minutes from the parking area to the temple and then go up the stairs. Visitors can only look at the Buddha from a whole but it was breathtaking for me. I was so happy to see that they are really trying their best to preserve the site. No pictures of the Buddha were allowed to be taken.

“Enjoy a leisurely walk rewarded with Buddha statue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

It's perhaps a kilometer from the parking area to the on a nice path that's a little up/down but easy walking. In 1984, you could enter the grotto and take pictures; not so now, but that'll protect the site for future visitors.
