“Go inside the history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

There are numerous royal tombs (that looks like little hill mounds) all over the city, but this is one tomb you can actually enter and see what's inside. The display inside is fake as the real ones are in the museum, but worth a trip.

“If you really want to go in a tomb, this is the one”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

They call Gyeongju a living museum since there are mounds/tombs and other artifacts all over the place and this park is the epicenter of tombs. It was a nice walk around the grounds and the tombs are an impressive size. This is the only tomb you can enter and while it has some things to view, according to our guidebook, they are all replicas and the real artifacts are in the Gyeongju Museum. If I were to go back I would probably skip this and just head to the museum, but if you want to see how spacious they are, then might as well enjoy a stroll through the park.

“Experience to Remember”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

There are 150 tombs in this area which is a part of the Gyeongju National Park but only two tombs have been opened and only one is open to public. It was built between 5th and 6th century and one can see the grave and display of treasures found within, including gold crown, belt, other garments, saddles etc. I loved the walk among the tombs, the park on the grounds of the royal palace is very tranquil place and we enjoyed classical music one can hear all around. By the way, "Cheonmachong" means "heavenly horse tomb".
