“Great way to reach Haedong Yonggungsa Temple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

The Busan City Tour Bus offers you a ride all the way to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. And it is very good for you if you stay in the city instead of somewhere near the temple.

However, I hope the Korean Tourism Board can do something about their tour guide on the bus. My guide spoke in Korean! I thought this was an international group on the bus (yes, I understand there are Koreans on board too). The guides have to be more professional and speak in a language understood by all (or at least guests to the country? Isn't that basic courtesy?). They only gave us a pair of earphones (oh bring your own if you are a hygiene-freak) to listen in on some English language guide. It was soooo boring. I would rather the tour guide on the bus him/herself interact with us personally. We ended up yawning and sleeping because we do not understand him, and the voice-recorded guide was a pain to listen to.

“Loop Tour. Night Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I did the two loop tours for ₩10,000. I think it is worth the money. It is definitely a great way to let you figure out where you want to go. But since I walked the day before, I managed to cover all the points of interest within the area of the BIFF Square, Gukje Market, etc. Nevertheless, it is a good starting point for those who has no idea at all where and how to go around the area. The Night Tour however was, I found to be disappointing. First of all, only people who made prior reservation are allowed to get onto the bus. Only after the bus is filled with people whose names are on the list, would the rest are allowed to go on board. The problem is the brochures did not actually say you MUST make a reservation. It only say it is advisable to make a reservation. A handful of people were actually unable to board the bus. I was lucky since I was travelling alone. About the Night Tour itself, well the bus did stop at two places but we were actually just going around with the main focus point of interest being a bridge. Viewed the bridge from a few different points but that was just about it. Honestly, I did not find the Night Tour as interesting and worth it in comparison to the Loop Tours.

“Great Way to See Busan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

This is definitely a good way to start exploring Busan on your own. Reasonably priced at only 10,000 won per trip. There are 6 different tours to choose from. The Loop Tours (Haeundae & Taejongdae) are actually 2 combined into 1 if you have the time. Start early & you can finish both for the price of 1. There are 4 Themed Tours (History & Culture, Haedongyonggungsa Temple, Eulsukdo Eco and Night Views). These packages provide an opportunity for visitors to travel to many of the beautiful tourist spots of Busan on a double-decker bus equipped with ubiquitous state-of the-art facilities. They operate every day except Mondays. Departs Busan Station Square at a 30-minute interval. You may visit their site at www.citytourbusan.com for more details.

“Worth it if you plan on hopping off and on”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

When you are new to Busan and you don't know how to get around too well, this is a great way to explore the areas that are most popular amongst tourists. Just get on the bus from Busan Station and hop off at one of the stops and start exploring.

“Good and Flexible Tour Bus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

The Busan City Tour Bus is a good arrangement for first-time tourists to Busan. Priced reasonably, and with options for passengers to hop on -off, it is flexible and conducive for
pax to see extensively Busan and visit several sites in one day. We travelled both loops and
were impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the vehicles, and also the careful drivers.
As the routes are quite extensive, we were able to see that Busan generally is a very clean
and beautiful city, and road users/drivers seem to be considerate and careful. That says a lot
for the city and its people. Up on the deck gives a very good view but can be quite hot in summer.
