“Excellent Hotel in Busan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

My wife and I just returned from a 3 week stay at Lotte Hotel Busan and loved every second of it. To start, the location was perfect. The hotel is located in the center of Busan above the Seomyeon subway station making it easy to get around. There is a mall connected to the hotel and a food court with many restaurants and food stalls to eat at. Although the restaurants at the hotel are very good, they are also very expensive, so recommend eating at the food court for variety of delicious food.
From arrival to departure every staff member I came across was friendly and greeted us. Check in and check out was fast and I had no issues with my reservations and hotel bill. Our room was large, nice, clean and up to date. Sheets, towels and robes were clean and looked new. Bed was very comfortable, carpets were clean and furniture was nice. The restroom was was perfect. Plenty of hot water and no issues with water pressure. Mirror was heated to keep from fogging up. A bidet with the toilet was nice and kept the seat warm. A clock was mounted on the wall to tell time while getting ready in the restroom. Laundry service was always returned no later than 3pm.
I recommend staying at the Lotte and I will definitely stay at Lotte Hotels where available.

Room Tip: Light sleepers should stay in a room on the opposite side of the swimming pool. The pool area can ge...

We arrived late so I guess they gave me the last room that was left, an old, beaten down room with not so clean carpeting and stains on the sofa... The walls were either thin or not well isolated (surprisingly for high rise) so you could hear your neighbor going about their business.

The price was fairly high (KRW 250k) for really not that good of a hotel.

I'm not giving a "terrible" because the service and breakfast where very good.

Room Tip: They have apparently renovated rooms - go for these since the non renovated ones are nasty.

I visit Korea on business on a regular basis and always look forward to staying in the Lotte Hotel in Busan. Very friendly staff always helpful and amazing facilities. The 1st floor resterauts give excellent value for money, although the Korean experience on top floor is very expensive.
On this trip I stayed over on 15th July, and they had even set up my room as my previous trip, complete with iron ready to use.

Great Gym and even has a squash court, as a club squash player I used the court for some exercise, only to be met with one of the staff who gave me a game.... He didn't have to but this is a sign of the staff attitude, "always willing to help"....

Look forward to my next visit....

Room Tip: Use the hotel facilities as they are excellent.

My wife and I stayed at the Busan Lotte for four nights in June.

The location is fabulous. It is located in the Seomyeon area of central Busan. We took a taxi from Busan Station and it was only about $6. There are lots of shopping to do in the area, both above ground and below ground. Firstly, the hotel is next to the very large Busan Department Store but it is also over the Seomyeon subway station where there are two very large underground shopping malls on either end. Above ground, there are plenty of stores in the area. The Seomyeon Eating Street is just left outside of the main entrance to the hotel where there are many, many restaurants as well as food carts setup at night.

Service was excellent at the hotel. We had a club room and checked in at the club lounge. Check-in was quick and efficient as was check-out. Our room was quite large, very modern, and extremely clean. Breakfast in the club lounge was quite good as were the snacks for the afternoon tea service and for the happy hour. For the happy hour, there were numerous beer, liquor and wine varieties.

Had a conference in the hotel for 1 week.
I liked the gym but only had one day to use it. very complete gym even with a 'walking track', indoor driving range and golf simulator.

We had lunch everyday in the hotel's buffet rest and it was REALLY good...especially the appetizer where they had quite a selection of sashimi and even crab's leg.

Will stay here again if I'm in Busan!

Room Tip: upgrade yourself onto executive room where you can use the lounge that provides smoking room, aftern...

Excellent location compared with downtown. Great rooms, great service, excellent restaurant, optimum bar, overall cleaned and efficient. The only downside is the price, far too high for the type of Hotel...but at the end I recommend it.

We had only 1 night here, but it was defo best hotel we used in SK. Its luxury one, with supporting staff everywhere - from door to next door. Breakfast was perhaps the best one we had in country (understand best one for European guys). Room was standard one, nothing extra (but we didnt upgrade) but good for money we paid. We used two restaurants - Japanese one on the top, which was super and highly recommend (lunch) and Italian one for dinner, which i dont recommend. Simply price is not equal to quality. We also tried Casino which is usually full of Japanase people, limits are small so its almost for kids :-).
