“family with young kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

kids-friendly place, we stayed 2 nights with our children (2y & 5y) in April and the staff were very helpful and kind ;)

Very convenient ; close from Haeundae beach and aquarium (just across the street)
and also from convenience store, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, Lotteria, KFC, Coffee Bean and many restaurants (I recommend the family restaurant Komo in front of the hotel)

I think its the best choice if you look for comfortable and very clean room for an affordable price *^^*
More closer of the beach, just in front !! there is also Novotel Ambassador but very pricey ...

tips: room with beach view but from the side window ;)

This hotel is a great deal and just steps from the beach, shops, sights, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, subway. Located in a lively neighborhood, this clean, comfortable hotel is a wonder find. Friendly, English speaking staff, free breakfast...can't go wrong. It's about an hour subway ride from the Busan Train Station, but the commute is pretty easy with just one change, and only about 1200KW. Cheaper than a taxi and worth the effort. Tourist Information is a crossed the street, so easy to plan your stay.

Room Tip: You can ask for an ocean view, or room with a balcony. We didn't, as we planned to be out and a...

I enjoyed my stay here. It's close to the beach, restaurants, and Haeundae station. The buffet is nothing special and the hotel is situated on top of a few bars. However, the rooms are clean, spacious, and worth the money.

This hotel locates a short walk from the Haeundae subway station. If you are travelling to Busan via train, then the subway trip from Busan station to Haeundae takes quite long. But its just by the beach, so will be handy if thats where you are going. Also there are buses to the beautiful Haedung yonggung temple from this area, just near the subway exit.

The hotel is on the top floors of a building. The room was nice and spacious with most amentities one may need. Receptionists were friendly and professional. Breakfast was included where Korean style and western style food are both available. It has proven to be great value for the great stay we had.

Been the first timt to Busan and I was recommend to stay at Haeundae Beach area.
So checked for accommondation there, but find out that most of the hotels in this area pretty expensive. So decided for Sunset Business Hotel as also got good reviews on Tripadvisor.
Short summary: The hotel is OK, but don't expect a 4 or 5 stars standard. The room is quite spacious and clean. The free wi-fi also works the most of the time.
Breakfast is neither Continental nor Asian style, something like from both and mix together.
The lobby is located in the 9th Floor, the rooms are located from 10th to 15th floor. From 1st to 8th floor are kinds of bars, private KTV rooms, Massage Salon etc... the Burger&Pasta in the 1st floor is quite delicous with kinds of Italian food.
The location is fantastic as is just a stone throw from the Haeundae Beach. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around the hotels as well a wet market with those Korean delicacies.

Room Tip: Take a room with beach view

I stayed here with my parents for two nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. Because it was off season we didn't have problems with noise as others have mentioned. If you want to be in the Haeundae area you can't beat this location and price. However if you want to explore Busan you are over an hour from the downtown area by metro or bus. At this location you are near the beach and not too far from the Haedong Yonggusa temple. From the KTX/Busan Station we took bus 1003 to Haeundae Beach stop. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

We found the staff to be very helpful with good enough English. The breakfast was good, a mix of Korean and Western style, however only 2 breakfasts were included with the room, for the 3rd person it was 10,000 won. We also only received one free bottle of water, two would have been nice. There was a slight problem with the Internet but they came right up to fix it (we didn't know which network to connect to, but the speed was good once we figured it out). The only other small complaint was that the shower wasn't great, not a lot of pressure and it wavered hot/cold. Despite these small negatives we really enjoyed our stay at Sunset and would return.

Sunset Business Hotel has a very convenient location. There are 3 convenience stores nearby, 2 of which are at the ground floor of the building. There is also a KFC a few steps from the hotel's doorsteps. Busan Aquarium and Haeundae beach is right across the street.
