It is quite amazing how Korea uses this relatively small stretch of sand.
In summer it is very busy but there is allways someting interesting, from sand festival to street artist. Nice restaurants and bars close by. Enjoy it!

When visiting Busan make sure you come out to Haeundae Beach. It is easily reached by bus or the metro which is called Haeundae. There are tons of different restaurants, cafes, traditional korean restaurants, love motels, jimjilbangs, and beach action. You can easily spend the weekend here. Lovely place. Perfect to come spring and summer.

We walked from Dalmaji Road to Haeundae Beach in the late morning. We could see the full beach (Westin Hotel at the far end) as we walked downhill. I personally like beaches and have visited a number in a few countries therefore I am not really excited over Haeundae Beach. Nevertheless, this is a famous beach in Busan and was included in our to-do list as well. The beach is quite far from the metro station so be prepared to walk a bit but there are many restaurants along the way. So if you're hungry, just walk into one of them.
