“Basic 3 star hotel which is very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2011

We could relate this hotel with Travelodge in UK. It is quite similar in many aspects.

The hotel is about 10-15 walk from Busan Train Station. Once you are out of the Train Station, walk towards the mainroad (u will see chinatown accross), just take a left turn and walk along the mainroad for about 10-15 mins and u will reach the hotel (the hotel should be on your right hand side).

Hotel check in time is 4pm but you can put your luggage at the hotel. Service at the reception was good altho the staff only speak very limited english. Hotel surrounded by some shops and restaurant - more restaurants are situated towards the train station. Hotel is also about 10 mins walk to busan metro.

Hotel rooms are clean and compact. Bed are comfortable. Their bathroom are small but very functional and modern.

Overall, not a bad choice given its rate. I would stay again the next time i visited Busan. The complimentary buffet breakfast is just another plus point to this hotel.

this hotel serves the purpose of a good place to stay in busan. room is immaculate..very clean. toilet maybe small but ive been to smaller toilets in japan. bed is hard and pillows are the typical ones in korea...heavy and with little things inside. can be uncomfortable to some people. there is no resto in the hotel but breakfast is available at the 2nd floor from 7-930am only. the hotel i noticed is always full so breakfast can be very challenging...since most of the guests are checking out, the 3 elevators are always full and if you're just in time for 930 cut-off. chances are there is nothing left in the buffet table or the staff has cleared everything already...mind you..they are fast! so i suggest wake up earlier!

the subway station (jungang) is about 8-10 min walk..turn right as you exit the hotel. while the ktx is on the left side and abt 10-15 min walk. there's a limo bus from the airport and it stops right in front of the hotel.

what i really like about the hotel is it's very clean. downside to this hotel are the ff: front desk has limited english and they hardly smile. there are no resto near the hotel. you need to take the subway (nampo or jagalchi stop) in order to find good restos. there's a 7-11 right beside the hotel though.

Room Tip: ask one facing the street so you have the view of the port

I had stayed in Toyoko hotels in Japan before but was apprehensive as this is Korea and Koreans like to add 'Korean Touches' to all things foreign. As it turns out the hotel was great. Right next to the KTX station and just what I expected. Clean, easy and cheap. A light Breakfast was provided. There were computers for guests to use. The room was small but comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

As expected the Japanese style room was compact, comfortable and cozy. The internet access in the lobby was great with up to six online computers. The staff, as was common throughout our journey in South Korea speak limited English and have limited knowledge with respect to the area. However, the hotel was conveniently located near Busan train station.

Clean and spotless rooms which use their limited space to the max. The toilet, though small has a bathtub in it and what I loved most is the toilet bowl which comes which the usual Japanese style bidet and warmer.

The queen sized bedroom can actually fit 3 fairly sizeable adults. However, do bring a pillow along if the room is meant for 2 and there are 3 of you as the hotel do not provide extra pillows at all.

The hotel is a good 15 minutes walk away from the Busan main station but taxis are easily available and use the metre. If you prefer somewhere nearer to the station, then do stay at Toyoko Station 1 which is just a road away from the station.

The hotel was packed to the brim with both foreign tourists and locals. So, be sure to make your reservations early.

Breakfast was fairly adequate with both bread and Korean rice and dishes provided. Be sure to go earlier (before 8) to avoid the crowd.

Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: If you are taking a twin sharing room but with 3 people, be sure to ask for the double bed rather th...

This hotel is one branch of a Japanese chain. The rooms are spotless, functional, small and if you only need a place to sleep and make use of a free, very fast internet (wired) connection, this is the place for you. Staff were friendly although English was limited. The free breakfast caters to local tastes and although I did not find it to my taste, it is ample. Taxi fare from Gimhae Int'l Airport ran about 23USD or 24000KRW in a black and gold taxi. Compared to what I found to be available in this town, you cannot beat the price (less that 50USD/night thru Agoda).

I stayed in a standard room for one night, which was 55,000 won ($55). The room was very small but very clean. You get a full size bed with 1 pillow, and have just one towel and 1 hand cloth. The bed is not so comfortable. I stayed on the 22nd floor(23 total). They have 3 elevators but they are quite slow.
Check out is at 1000, but if you stay a few hours over it will be 11,000 won an hour. They serve complimentary breakfast between 0730-0930, on the 2nd floor. If you are a picky eater don’t bother. There isn’t much of a selection and the seating area is small and gets full pretty fast.

There is Free Wired internet in the room. And if you want to use wifi, U+village is the network just ask the front desk for the password (its free as well). ** The do not advertise wifi, not sure why but they do have it**

Rush hour is between 0900-1000, due to breakfast ending soon and check out time. If you are on the top floor be prepared to stop at every floor on the way down. It took me roughly 5 mins to get from the 22nd floor to the 1st. (this of course was on a Sunday morning, I had some friends who checked out on Monday and there wasn't a wait at all)
