The corridors are very worn out and sad looking. I was quite concerned what to find in the room but luckily they were not in the same condition.

Rooms were recently refurbished but small. Rooms are okay as such, no complaint. However, walls are thin and the guy on the opposite side of the corridor talked all night so there was not much sleep for me.

We had coupons for our rooms. Payment receipts were delivered to the rooms before departure (a good thing because it gives you more chance to notice that the charge is wrong). Surprise surprise, we had been charged full price. We went to the reception and they found immediately that the coupons were stapled to our documentation and that the bills were wrong. But they had already charged our credit cards. And it took them a LONG time to put this right. Luckily we were not in a rush to leave. So check your bill.

Breakfast was standard motel breakfast.

I wouldn't stay there again.

Front desk clerk was polite but hardly hit with the hospitality bug (could've been that I was checking in at 930 pm). Parking lot was full. Got put in king size smoking room - asked to change, told they were sold out. Had to go up stairs - no elevator. Paint cans, ladders, ripped up carpet in stairwell. Room was small (king bed in a room for a double) and stuffy. Window did open and AC was fine once I turned it on. Tiny pillows, thin towels. Bathroom was clean and what you'd expect for economy. Breakfast was included and looked decent and, again, what you'd expect for economy- coffee, waffle maker, Danish pastry, and red apples. Have stayed in worse places but definitely wouldn't stay again. Anyplace would have been at least comparable if not better, especially for $130/night.

We tried this hotel for one night while passing through Albany. It was clean with no extra frills; but, nicely decorated. Our room had obviously been recently remodeled and was quite comfortable. The continental breakfast was adequate; but, nothing out of the ordinary. It was a good place for the cost and we would recommend it again.

Four families stayed at this property in May for a family wedding. It was convenient to the mother-of-the-bride, the church, the reception and the airport. Management went out of their way to extend a very competitive rate for our group.

The hotel is under renovation, we stayed in a re-done room which was adequate for our stay (but not very large). The room was clean and neat, housekeeping was timely.

We enjoyed the hot breakfast but it did get repetitive after three mornings.

Central Avenue in Colonie has seen better days, although it appeared to be thriving. This hotel is probably the best bet on this tired strip!
