“Nice but needs work”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

This hotel is obviously a hotel for larger groups and families. I stayed in the tower the rooms are outdated but I did appreciate having a refrigerator. Housekeeping should pay attention to detail there was black mold in the tub and hair that was not mine on my pillow. I decided to try the restaurant...not good my flat bread pizza was soggy and my salad was bland I asked for Italian dressing and received oil in a cup. There is a pizza hut in the parking lot I will take the walk next time. Overall my room was spacious and the pool and fitness center were nice. May visit in the future but will not be back for the food unless it changes in a major way!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the tower

The cost for this room was too high. It was a small space, not conducive to doing any kind of work. The shower alternated between cool and scalding and back in a matter of seconds. There was no way to adjust it to avoid. It sounded like someone was trying to get into the room through the venting system each time it went off. And, bring your own hair dryer. The one provided is not powerful enough to do anything in less than 30 minutes. Traveling for business? Skip this one.

I attended an event and stayed over at this property on a Saturday night in September. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and welcoming, particularly one of the housekeepers we ran into in the elevator.

The separate wet bar and bathroom area were a convenient plus. Upgrading to include breakfast for $10/couple was a great added value. The buffet was kept stocked and fresh with a good selection.

I had an excellent sleep on a very comfortable mattress with plenty of pillows. The A/C or heat was on demand and efficient.

Room Tip: We stayed in the tower.

Nice looking hotel cosmetically but old, outdated rooms. Lights in bathroom didn't work, no drain stopper in bath sink, drapes off their track, etc. No ramps for rolling suitcases to room on one wing of hotel, therefore had to carry them up three steps and then down three steps. Would not want to stay there again in the future.

Room Tip: Find somewhere else to stay.

Stayed five nights one week and three nights the next on business. Rooms were average and the first week the room was small. The second week I stayed in a room in the tower, which was better but still nothing to rave about. The breakfast and lunch buffets look appetizing, but the food is never hot. With all the business this place does, it's time to put some money into a remodel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the tower.

I was there on a business trip very recently - found the bed caved in, when I checked in at night. i immediately notified the reception - the people were so personable a professional. Within ten minutes they replaced the box, and the mattress with a brand new one! The people that did the fixes, were extremely professional and did it with a smile. Thank you HOliday Inn, for your excellent spirit of service.

Room Tip: Back side of the hotel is less noisy and seclude - plenty of parking place

This place is wonderful for couples or if you are traveling for business. They serve breakfast every morning, and I felt at home. Good service, and the cleaners always change the sheets and towels for every stay. It's big enough to move around and see everything that's there. One of the things that I loved about this hotel is the fact that they have a spa. It is convenient for when you want to be with your spouse and relax. Another thing, is after a long day at work or traveling, the spa is the best thing to do.

Room Tip: Rooms on the middle or on the side are quieter/calmer.
