Bathroom had mole. Dirty towels. Pretzels left behind by previous costumers in room. No fixed rates, surprised taxes of over $30 beside rate of room. They charged my card when checked in although I chose to pay cash. Now I have to wait for my money to be placed back on card. Horrible hotel, ill never stay there again.

I have to say, that for the price, the Cresthill Suites is the best hotel in the area. First of all, the location couldn't be any better. NY's 2 main highways are within a block. I-90, East and West to Mass., Vermont etc. within an hr. I-87 North and South to Lake George, Montreal, or NYC. Neighborhood safe and easy to get around. Great Restaurants within 2-3 mile, Wolf Rd., Central Ave.and downtown Albany 5 minutes away. Two Malls within minutes. The kitchenette was very handy. Food stores all around. Trader Joes on Wolf Rd., and there is a Target on Wolf also, that has groceries. The room it self was great. king bed and fold out sleeper where my Father-in-law of 91 slept very comfortably. He has a walker, and maneuvered the room and hotel just fine. We used the dishwasher several times and house keeping emptied it. Unbelievable! The halls were quiet and the staff helpful and friendly. There were 7 in our party, in 3 rooms. All were very impressed. Anything less then 4 or 5 stars here is bogus. We stayed a week. Variety of free breakfast every morn. Waffles, pancakes, cold cereal, oatmeal,bacon, sausage,and eggs. Coffee, tea, hot chocalate available all the time. Convenience store in lobby w/snacks, detergent,soft drinks, frozen dinners, razors, etc. Honestly, if your disappointed here, I don't know what to say. I was raised in the Capital District and now live in Michigan. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, when I go back for a visit, now that I've found Cresthill Suites. My daughter is a personal fitness trainer, and she and her sister used the fitness room everyday. We never had to ask for paper towels, kleenex,etc. they were provided every day. House keeping was great seeing that people were leaving their rooms at different times because of the kitchenette. So housekeeping was going all day long. If you didn't leave till 1pm, when you got back your room would be made up. Don't hesitate to stay here. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Dave Passino PS Only 10 minutes from the airport. We used Priceline to get this hotel. We were so pleasantly surprised upon our arrival as the hotel was very clean as well as our room. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom great. Had a complimentary supper and breakfast! We would absolutely stay here again. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

We found this hotel on Priceline, which rates it @ 2 1/2 stars. That's about right. The large room is half bed-bath-and-closet, and half full kitchen (fridge/freezer, stove w oven, microwave and dishwasher) with eating counter and sitting area. The space is undivided except for the breakfast bar/counter. The bath was immaculate; the bed is clean, the cutlery, plates, etc, provided are adequate for 2.

The breakfast was worse than most - burned french toast, dry cereal (fruit loops-ugh). The coffee was not great, but the half & half was real. And, be warned, they have trouble with their keying system not holding a charge. A key that's working when you go out may not work on your return - a nuisance on a longish stay or if you are far from the elevator..

We paid under $60 and were very comfortable.
