“Young and lively brunch scene”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

I so enjoyed my eggs benedict with blackened organic salmon -- it's always so difficult to make a choice of what to eat, each item sounds more delicious with creative flavor and ingredient combinations. I enviously watched a three-some devour the homemade ice cream sandwich for dessert after consuming a generous brunch.

“Unique menu items”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012 via mobile

Did you ever see so many things on a menu that you didn't know which to try first? Well New World Bistro is one if those places.

Four of us went to try their Sunday brunch. They start off by bringing warm rolls with jalapeño and corn in them. Delicious. I ordered the burrito of the day which was filled with shrimp, eggs and a spicy sauce. Would I order it again?

Can't wait to visit Albany and return to this restaurant.

“Interesting selections”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

was in town on business, had a meal at New World. Everything was top notch from reception to service to food. Menu is varied, with a tapas like offering, but they also have full meals and pizza selections.

For those that are vegan or gluten conscious there were plenty of varieties as well.

“Different and Very Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We have been here twice now, and it is a cool place with very good food, not the usual meat and potato place but an eclectic menu with bold choices. Love their jerk chicken dinner. It is different from every other restaurant in the Albany area. Its next to the Spectrum Theatre, and the combo makes for a nice night out.

“Shrimp and Grits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

The Shrimp and Grits were excellent. Growing up in New Orleans, I have had many shrimp and grits, these rocked!
