“Quite pricey, at least the money goes to conservation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

The reserve has well marked paths and it is worth it to go and see the Coco de Mer palms as they can only be seen in the Seychelles. Otherwise I thought it was bit overpriced, hopefully the money will be put to good use conserving the Seychelles natural beauty!!

“Garden of Eden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

A trip to Seychells is not complete without a trip to Val du Mai! A unesco World heritage site with 6 endemic types of palms including the coco de mer. Aloow 4 hours to walk all the paths and don't miss the waterfall which is reached from outside the park.

“Coco De Mer is a sight to see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Amazing trails and the Coco De Mer trees are truly one of a kind. The nuts are massive and unique only to the Seychelles. My wife and I bought one from the main Post Office in Victoria- you know the government is not going to rip you off.

I dont think a place like this exist anywhere else! You get to see where the real coco-de-mere grows and forms. Great educational place for kids too!
