So I came here the other day for lunch, and nearly choked on the menu prices which start at around sR250.
I ended up going for some tapas, with a sandwich, which ended up being majorly disappointing.
A turkey and guacamole sandwich turned out to be a slice of processed turkey, on a thin spread of guacamole, on a white tortilla wrap.
The patatas fritas were deep fried from frozen potato croquettes (the type you buy for kids at the local supermarket) and the "chorizo" were bite sized cold salami pieces.
Add one him and tonic, and a bottle of still water, my bill came to sR450 (R400/£30) which is by far the most expensive meal I have had on the island, for the lowest value for money.
I didn't want a full main course, only wanted some light bites...... Won't make that mistake again!
