This is breakfast - as we sat down given a banana, mango and orange drink. Started with a lovely baked dish from the oven in a terracotta dish - was egg, tomatoes and spinach. So yummy. Then that plate was taken away and we had a grapefruit. I have never been a fan of grapefruit but thought better to try it. It was delicious. So sweet and juicy. And as well as that there was a peeled orange and in segments. Next was a homemade muesli that was so delicious. And honey and sour cream. Then we had vegetables and cheese - there was avocado, capsicum, olives with grapefruit marinated together, tomatoes (red ones and yellow ones) and five different kinds of cheese - all very delicious and all locally made. As well as that we had a loaf of homemade bread. It is cooked and then dried somehow and crisp and crunchy - yum. And there was also two other cheeses that I didn't try as too much dairy but they looked wonderful. For the bread they had a burner with a portion of marmalade heating in it -unique and very tasty. There was a wonderful mint tea -they bought it out by the jugful and we had two jugs of it. And also six little cakes but we didn't have those and I took them with me and we shared them with a cup of tea later in the day. This was such a delicious breakfast and not sure where we will be for Christmas dinner so we are counting this as our Christmas feast.
The rooms are spacious, cosy and delightfully decorated. Everything is included. Wifi is free, parking is free.
The owners are very very helpful and know the area very well. Not only that they are very welcoming, offering fruits from their orchard just for the picking.
We had dinner at the restaurant every night we were there (3 nights) and tried a different dish each night and all delicious.
If you are in the Tiberias area and have transport you must stay here.
