“A bit dated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating, but condition of the rooms was not good. Went with several other couples; two couples had to get their rooms changed because of strong sewer gas smells. I believe that they are in process of renovating, but for now it is only so-so.

Rooms are dirty, floors look as it never been clean, bedding are old and yellow stains from sweat on the pillows.
Bathrooms needs lots of TLC, the facility are run down.
Food not great
Outside the parking lots not that great and looks very dirty, the hotel is not for families with kids, no pool in the hotel.

View is good, but does not justify the staying in the hotel for family vacation – stay away if you have kids

The staff at the hotel was nice and accomodating. Our room was pretty outdated, but it was large compared to some of the other hotels in Israel we stayed in. I did not really enjoy this hotel because it was large and felt antiquated. The bathroom was also not very clean as there were hairs in our sink and shower. I did like the teakettle in room and the amenities that we were given here to use. I appreciated the large breakfast buffet but some of the people to include the omelet chef seemed grouchy and not in the best mood. I felt a bit like a senior citizen staying here on a nursing home trip, as the rooms were old and bland the food was old and bland and everyone seemed grouchy...lol The hotel is in a nice location on the Sea of Galillee and I can see it quite busy in the summer becuase of the location, however they need to update this place because pretty soon, people will all be booking elsewhere if they dont. Any modern hotel that builds near the Rimonim Mineral will take all their business away.

It's a dump. Carpet in room was ripped and it looked like someone threw a bowling ball at the baseboards, large chunks were missing. Area was isolated and the food was less than desirable.
Someone should of paid me to stay there.

Room Tip: Yes, chose a better hotel.

Originally from Israel.
We usually get great hotels in our country but this one was that bad I had to tell it...
Came for a weekend from Tel Aviv.
Bad food, bad rooms, old fashioned and not esthetic... Good situation, free parking.

Pro's:
free parking
Free use of the hot springs which is basically just a pool with some salt water and A LOT of chlorine

Con's:
Rooms are smelly
Beyond dated
Linens were dirty
Room had zero towels
Carpet stained everywhere
Dust everywhere
Front desk has just one person there so if you have a question you're going to wait a while

Bottom line: if you're under 60 this hotel isn't for you. It's basically an old age home.

This hotel advertises itself as 5 stars. We found it to be a 3 star hotel.
Hotel. The room temperature could not be controlled by guests, the tennis court was grungy - dirty and ungroomed, the food was rather tasteless, and the first room we had had to be changed because it had no hot water. Not pleasant.
