“Delicious!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

We visited Galei Gil on a Friday night (one of the few restaurants open in the Tiberias area on the Sabbath) and had a wonderful dinner. My kebab was juicy and flavorful and my husband loved the St Peter's fish - yeah, it's a tourist thing, but it was really good! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I'd give it 4.5 stars if allowed - the half star is for the decor, which is a bit dated.

“Excellent charcoal grilled fresh fish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

We found this restaurant as we walking along the promenade, searching for a place for dinner. We had a nice able next to the Sea of Galilee, We ordered grilled fish which took awhile, however it was perfectly done and very fresh. The waiter apologized for the delay, saying that grilling takes longer. The remaining pita bread was thrown into the lake which was taken immediately by a school of catfish, amazingly to watch, even in darkness. The white wine recommended was good too.

“Great place for lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Can't beat the location - right on the Kineret (Sea of Galilee) , and looking across at the Golan Height.

Fish was very fresh, and I had a chopped veggie salas that was very good. You can linger as long as you want!

Suggestion| go during the day, or you cannot see the view. Prices are not inexpensive, but what is in Israel??

“Fish and more fish at Galei Gil”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Arriving in Tiberius late in the evening, I was looking for a nice meal. The staff accommodated my appetite by supplying two orders of fish and chips, along with salad, humus and pita. Awesome.

“Tanurin Restaurant at Migdal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

I just wanted to share a good Sea Food Restaurant that we stopped at on our last visit to the country. Our tour guide Sam Salem recommended it and we really enjoyed the fresh fish from the sea of Galilee and the Mezza small salad plates where extraordinary! I believe it is the Best food we ate during our visit to the country.
