First of all, the name of the restaurant is "Doris Katzavim". "Katzav" is the Hebrew word for a butcher and the restaurant name means they are both a butchery and a restaurant. Upon entry, you pass by the glass fridge with all the types of steaks laying there for you to explore.
As for being a butchery, the meat is well aged and excellent. In 4 times I ate at this place, I have never returned a steak and always liked it. The waiters have great knowledge and will recommend the cuts that are better on the specific day (based on the age and conditions of the beef). They also have lamb and veal portions and Hamburgers and Kebabs for those who want a "light" meal. This is definitely not the place for vegetarians and those who want fish for dinner.
This restaurant is worth a visit, even when having to drive some distance for it. It has branches in Tzemach (south tip of teh sea of galilee) and in Tel Aviv.
