My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The service at the front desk was helpful and friendly from the start. As our reservation was lost, the pleasant gentleman upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost.
However, this sounds better than it actually was. In fact, the unit was outdated, poorly furnished with old rugs and drapes and uncomfotable beds. The linens were shabby and almost threadbare. Cleanliness was maintained, however. I feel sorry for the staff who must work in these ugly rooms daily,
The unit had a small, but suitable balcony with an outstanding view, facing south and we spent frequent breaks sitting on the balconty and relaxing.
The breakfast was meagre by Israeli standards. As well, the room was untidy and the serving area was messy with food spills. To top it all off, 2 staff were constantly and loudly quarelling in public, which is not a nice way to face a morning for them or for the guests.
The reality is that with effort and money, this place could be great. It is in the best location on the street, If the owners would only renovate and upgrade, the Park could be a great hotel.
My guess is, that instead, this place will ultimately be sold and a condo will be built in its place. I believe the owners are just abiding there time until this happens. I hope i am wrong.

We booked this hotel on the internet but was so disapoointed when we arrived.
We were given the 'suite' because of my large family.
The carpets were filthy, the beds consisted of flimsy mattresses on wooden planks. The TV control didnt work and the 'suite' was barely big enough to swing a cat.
When I checked out early to stay in a better hotel, the manager insisted on charging me double the price.
Location was central, on the beach but very noisy at night.
Would not go there again.

How to describe the Park Hotel....

Great Location.... reasonably good food.... the most basic rooms available.

With a good investment this should be the highest priced hotel in Netanya. It is right in the center of town, overlooking the beach... No hotel has a better location ! The hotel falls short in that the rooms have not been re-done in many years... they are a bit dingy (although they try to keep it clean).

The pool is old but nice although there were never towels available for anything but your bathroom (none for the pool or beach while we were there).

If you are looking for a room with Airconditioning and not much more, this hotel is fine. If you want a bit a luxury.. you may want to look elsewhere !
