My family and I really enjoyed the hospitality of the Bedouins at Kfar Hanokdim. Such warm and welcoming people. I would have much preferred to have gone there just for dinner so that I could experience their warmth and eat their delicious food. I could have done without the whole sleeping there thing. The accomodations were clean and modest. I just don't personally enjoy the whole sleeping in tents thing. It is much more suited to children or teens. In fact, there were TONS of teens there when we were there and they seemed quite smitten by the whole experience.
It is kind of in the middle of nowhere so was a real pain in the butt to go all that way just to eat a meal in a tent. If you happen to be in the area anyway (like on your way to Masada) it makes a lovely stop. You will meet some very friendly people. If you do not need to be in Arad then I wouldn't bother. Try a camel ride -- tons of fun!!
